I know everyone is gushing about Ro here, but can we take a sec and appreciate the three bakers on this episode? They were all incredibly talented. Those designs were out of this world good.
I love that instead of not casting someone who doesn't drink for the cocktail episode or creating drama about it, the show just lets her casually explain that she's making a mocktail and everyone rolls with it without a fuss.

I was worried usually these shows can be cringey and an overdose of puns, this show didn’t disappoint in the best way possible. I love this show so far! Full of fun and personality! I feel like Ro was made for this!

Yes I was very happy there was Muslim representation but I feel that making Lena A MUSLIM cook with gelatin and alcohol (I understand she didn’t cook with them) but I feel that they should’ve at least done some research. Also I understand that she could’ve used beef gelatin but. But nonetheless it was a great show
Both of Lena’s were absolutely phenomenal... that second one was GORGEOUS. I thought the other two did an amazing job as well and I’m sad Pavani didn’t win one, but her creativity and looks were on point.
what i love is that the judges don't act as though as they're so perfect or something, and they admit that they've also made mistakes. so its not like a cliche baking show😊👍
I’m so glad to picked Lena (for round one) despite her not using alcohol. I feel like other judges would’ve said “the instructions were to make a margarita... and I was really hoping for some alcohol”
I absolutely love how supportive and invested the judges are. They’re worried when someone’s struggling and are excited when they overcome problems. Also having diversity not just between everyone on set, but also between the judges, with them all being chefs but being in different sort of categories of baking, from decorating to flavoring to staying on trends. This show is spectacular and I can hope I can watch all of it one day
love how the judges even learned from the contestants and gave them little tips like how they were impressed/awed with Gregory's moss or how they told Pavani how to better paint baker's paper for decoration.
This is the first time I've seen a cooking/baking sort of show that doesn't eliminate people - I like that a lot. Of course, there's only one winner per round, but I think the fact that nobody gets told they have to leave is nice! I also like how the judges give advice on how to achieve a certain concept in a more efficient way or just provide comments without being too harsh about it. Each to their own, but when judges are outright rude or harsh with their comments or advice, I'm not a huge fan of that. Love Gregory's energeticness and Donal's little dance at the end. Great first episode, and I enjoyed everybody's creations a lot! + Ro you make the perfect host; you're a bubbly and fun person as is. Super proud and happy for you!!

This show is amazing. It's so unique, and wonderful. However, I actually stumbled upon another show called Nailed it! on Netflix which also doesn't elimanate. Just a recommendation, this show is absolutely fantastic.

It was only yesterday I found Rosanna out by her making a super Mario star cake and while it was in the oven she was playing a level in super Mario bros. I’m so proud of how far she has come.

Just one episode and you’ve got me hooked, line and sinked! These baker contestants were also each cute, wholesome and adorbs! And so incredibly creative! I'd just like to say, the thing that makes this unique from other baking shows is of course Ro because she's amazing but also they judge the contestants fairly and give them multiple chances to win money. I love you Ro and I can't wait to watch the rest of Baketopia!!!!
