I found the sponge bed really funny because when I was in 2nd grade, I was in this advanced science sorta class. I loved it a lot, we did super fun things and it was only 3 other girls (which happened to be my friends), and for one of the projects we made these lil rock houses. We picked out pebbles, made cardboard 1-story homes, rooms, paintings, accessories, etc. I brought mine home to finish it, and I was stuck on finding a bed. I made a bed frame out of cardboard but no actual bedding, I went to school in a rush the next day and when I checked the rock home in the class, I had a sponge my dad had put there. It made me smile along with the note he had written “Hope this works, I love you and have a great day! - Dad” I just love the thought of this memory in all and thought I would share. :) Have a good 2022 and stay safe!! My mother also taught me to never put metal in the microwave. We recently realized the microwave we used for 20 years when I was growing up always had a metal rack at the bottom to set plates on. So what made that metal ok but all other metals not ok?!?! 🤷🏻♀️ We have no idea and can't believe we never noticed in all our years of using it daily. 😂

Electricity runs through metal in the microwave, and when the metal has points or corners, it causes arcing. Microwave safe metal containers like the crisp pot are designed and shaped so that they don't have any corners that can cause arcing, the current just runs harmlessly through the container. They're a good alternative to microwaving things in plastic.
I didn’t come up with this but I saw it and wanted to share it. Ro you should do a series where you try the try guys concepts from their without a recipe series to see if they are even possible when professionally done. Like you could try to make Eugenes tea cake, or all of Keith’s Daddy’s Favorite desserts

My mother also taught me to never put metal in the microwave. We recently realized the microwave we used for 20 years when I was growing up always had a metal rack at the bottom to set plates on. So what made that metal ok but all other metals not ok?!?! 🤷🏻♀️ We have no idea and can't believe we never noticed in all our years of using it daily. 😂

I agree, Justine. We need a corn episode. I love fresh corn but hate biting into it. I have to cut it off the cob no matter what. Also because of flashbacks to my time with braces.
