- The incomparable Ms. Uzo Aduba is granted a leave from Litchfield Federal Penitentiary to visit the YH Studio and tell us all about her incredible experience on the Netflix original series "Orange Is The New Black"! She tells us how she was able to dig deep and find her inner "Crazy Eyes" (the nickname for her character Suzanne Warren) and shares her thoughts on how outlets like Netflix are revolutionizing the way we consume entertainment. She is so underrated as an actress, it takes a Good actor to play a normal character like Alex or piper but it takes a sheer talent individual to get into the mindset she does for the character

You can tell shes really got into her character, everyone on Orange is the new black has, they're all so talented.
Every time she's on the screen, I'm utterly amazed at the DEPTH she brings to her character. "Crazy Eyes" could EASILY have been a caricature, but this actress brings a complexity to it that most wouldn't even try to reach for. Her changes in Season 2 have been really incredible. The scene in the bathroom with Vee was amazing. Uzo is in tune with Suzanne in a way that no other actor on the show is in tune with their character, and the connection she conveys goes very deep. A truly gifted actress.
So nice to hear her talk about pushing herself as an actor... She was INCREDIBLE this season

The second season was met with critical acclaim, people! The critics are saying it's way better than the first and Uzo's performance as Crazy Eyes was acclaimed by critics as was the actress who plays Vee and Yael Stone (Morello).
Lorraine Toussaint was brilliant. Vee was a psycho and sociopath and I hated her. Happy with what she got in the season finale. And Yael Stone was amazing too
I think it's ironic how her character is "crazy eyes" and when she's out of character she has very cute and soft eyes lol
The young woman interviewing Uzo is far superior and professional to the airheads normally seen in these PR spots.

Uzo Aduba is so amazing as Crazy Eyes! Is it just me, or does she resemble a cross between Oprah and Whoopie? To me she has the class and beauty of Oprah and the comedic genius of Whoopie.
