🚚 Emphasis on IT IS STILL SUMMER!!! Fall is my favorite season, but summer does not end until September. We still have time to finish our summer tbr’s. 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on This Could Be Us.
Me being me, I would have packed up ALL my books and used that as an excuse to hut up Barnes and Nobles a couple of times before we get settled. Lol. And of course keep my Kindle nearby ❤🚚
@KaylasBookishVibes oooooo girl you moved to the middle nowhere like I did. Lol Going to Barnes and Nobles in an event. I have to go to the neighboring city to get books. But someone has to make the sacrifice, lol
🚚 Loving your channel! I actually just moved across the country at the beginning of this month to be closer to my brothers. I’m happy to say the books are already unpacked 🎉
Wishing you safe travels!!!! Sonny Hostin’s book Summer on the Bluffs was sooooo goodt!!!!! Part 3 came out this year in May. I can’t wait to read it. I will put Penn Cole on my TBR! The Kindred Curse Saga looks good! Happy reading! 📚
🚚 enjoyed shopping yourselves🙌🏾 I finally read Children of Blood and Bone from your review 🙌🏾it was good, yep Zelie is that girl warrior straight up warrior definitely someone I want with me traveling in Orisha. I wish Tzain had a pov and yes I’m with you on the mismatch edges😳😅. Hope the move and unpacking is going well 😁🙏🏾🚚
I enjoyed this video so much. I hope you had a smooth move and enjoy the books you picked! P. S. I moved to Georgia a year ago and decided not to bring my old bookshelf. My books are still in totes and only a few on small shelf. Your book nook inspires me to focus on my library…I’ve been focusing on everything else in the house.
Ahh, it’s definitely time to read TCBU! Summer on the Bluffs is a summer hopeful of mine. Girl you gotta get to Just for the Summer by Abby. Such a good book! I got Middle of the Night as an ALC and I still haven’t got to it. 🤦🏽♀️ Aww I haven’t heard anyone talk about The God of the woods at all. I picked it as a BOTM as well. I love that we have similar reading tastes for certain genres. I see two potential buddy reads 🤪 Happy reading friend! 🚚
I've read Wanda A. Morris, All Her Little Secrets it was great! Based on the synopsis you just read sounds like an continuation of the book. Like how she moved on with life after her brother died and career. I can't wait to read What You Leave behind.
I still need to read all her little secrets but i believe the FMCs have different names so I don’t think it’s a continuation. I could be wrong though so don’t take my word for it 🤣
🚚 Good luck with your move. Because of your channel I picked up Children of Blood and Bone. The Legacy of Orisha series is everything. I am currently 200 pages into Children of Anguish and Anarchy. You will love to continue the journey. My rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yayyy on moving closer to mom! I’m sure your next reading area will be even better

I don’t think they published those other Orisha hardcover books with sprayed edges.
I haven’t read Tananarive Due yet-do you have a favorite to recommend?
