Don't bother. The tiny set screw corrodes quickly and makes them damn near impossible to get off. Adding any kind of thread lock glue will just make them even more impossible to get off. Been there, done that. I actually put antiseize on mine to stop them from corroding next time. Once they are tightened, they will not come loose.
@@thedevthing Because the stock is exhaust doesn't have the ability to move laterally beyond the small amount of flex in the rubber hangars. The AWE exhaust for my Audi also came with those little collars as well and I didn't install them at first and ended up with the same problem as you. So yes, I did install them after the fact just like you did.
I would've put some blue loc-tite on those set screws to prevent them from vibrating loose over time.
