I took me so long to get my hair to a good platinum shade - there is no way in hell I'd experiment like that. She should have stuck to the brand she liked.
What did I learn? 1 Don't box dye your hair if you're bored. 2 Everything I need to know I learned in kindergarten, ie, yellow and blue makes green. Her hair was so pretty before she got bored. I think her hobby should be painting with primary colours.
It's inappropriate to blame a company for one's poor decisions or incorrect use of their product. If she had done things the right way it would most likely have turned out right.
Would be nice if each side would turn more or less evenly. I'm there & the left side has way more gray than the right. If I go with a part on the left, then I am almost solid white on that side. The right side is about 80% brown. Makes me feel lopsided 😄.
My mum went grey in her early twenties. She’s dyed it crazy colours over the years and I was over the moon when I discovered my first greys when I turned 21. I’m 27 now and my hair is still mostly dark brown/black. Seems i take after my dad after all. No crazy colours for me unless I wanna damage my hair :(
I actually have metallic green. The big secret trick: have grey hair and colour it with Arctic Fox. Seriously. I've got some grey hairs and once dyed, they show up beautifully metallic. I'm not going to be upset once I end up all grey because it's going to be gorgeous once coloured green the way I like it.
I have mostly natural grey/silver/white hair, and one of the reasons I decided to stop dyeing my hair in my mid-40s was because the grey bits coming in were so much shinier than anything I could achieve with dye. I also didn't want to spend the rest of my life chasing my roots every three weeks, and I have no need of appearing younger. Non-pigmented hair can be luminous.
My (red) hair turned a blonde-ish when it went ‘gray’. I also get compliments, but to tell you the truth I’m so jealous of you girls with silver hair. It’s GORGEOUS!
She's so pretty and that hair colour suits her totally. Honestly, if she'd just done the roots she'd have been okay. The lengths didn't need doing at all, she shouldn't have touched them. She does seem bored of her hair though, I bet she threw a black box dye over it after that. lol
Absolutely! I’ve only ever gotten my roots done and my hair has stayed in great condition! Also your moniker reminds me of a Shonen Knife song called Twist Barbie! 🖤
She didn’t dye it black next , I checked her channel and she fixed it with other brand dye. And I think she’s right. This box dye wasn’t that good of a formula cuz the next one she used was gray.
What roots? Seriously, there is virtually no show...okay a tiny yellow. Agree with other posters, when my colorist got the PERFECT platinum, we didn't eff with it:)
@@missjoasia123 No, that's not right, it has nothing to do with the formula, it has to do with what she'd done to her hair before she put this on. She didn't understand that, and incorrectly blamed the product, instead of putting the blame where it belonged - on herself.
Her hair was already bleached multiple times and she thinks that product made her hair more dry 🙄 and she used the conditioner an extra 2 minutes 😂😂 that always fixes it.
I know! Sorry, but this girl doesn't understand how the dye process works, and she doesn't understand that it will always always damage your hair, there is no way around that...I really did not like the way she was blaming the product for things that here her own fault.
@@Julia-nl3gq I mean, there are semipermanent conditioning dyes that don't lift your hair and just apply pigment on top. Those don't cause more damage, but you will never be able to go lighter than what your hair is already. I used to use those to go from dark blonde/light brown to a deep, dark red and they worked well, because the pigment was darker than what I started with and I had a natural base color.
Hair Buddha. You are 🔝 Because of you I am not colouring so much anymore my hair. And...I am careful with pigments, not just checking the coloure on the box . Thank you !
Girl, your hair was sooooo pretty the color it was before.... It suited everything about you...your eyes were banging... I know you probably are back to that color by now. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We all have been there... I have had every color under the rainbow. 🌈😝
First rule with color. Color does not lift color. There are some exceptions to the rule my 30 years of doing hair, I probably ran into maybe 2-3 clients at the most. You have to lift all the way and then bring it back down. Even my blondes that wanted silver ashy color we always had to lift them first because they still turn gold. You have to pull that yellow out because any color you put on your hair it’s gonna go on top of whatever color your hair is and if it’s not white or a really high blonde color you’re gonna be in trouble. This is why color correction is very expensive.
I’m so happy that you talk slowly like this. Basically, I talk in french, so, it’s not easy to understand every youtubers. Thank you very much. You’re really interesting and I enjoy to look at your videos.
This is my daily struggle with silver hair! That's why I am 60% silver, 40% lilac and will add the smallest bit of blue conditioner to my purple conditioner every 4th wash. I also REALLY love Clenditioner "silver" from Ulta. The only true silver conditioner that isn't purple/blue. It's just grey. Love it.
I really wish there was like a law requiring that the developer strength is on these packages. or it was just common practice. I would love to know what's in the dye I use every six weeks lol - I assume it's like 30 because my regrowth does not like color much but this stuff blackens the hell out of it

If you want "silver" you need to treat the bleached hair (follow the instructions on the bleach) to remove any yellow first. I never went with the "silver" hair dyes. I used a diluted blue or purple. Once I just wash with the shampoo and conditioner that is to remove yellowing from natural grey or silver hair. Then I used a high gloss hair serum for the shine of the light blue/white hair. The shampoo and conditioner in my opinion did the best job. It helped clean the bleach out and condition the hair to help recover it from the bleaching. Bleach = Follow instructions. She is so pretty. Her voice is so soothing. She should make asmr! Her hair looked so much better with the blonde. But either way…..still beautiful. 😍😍
I tried that exact hair dye and my hair came out blue like Joy from the movie Inside out. 🤣🤣🤣
I’m always looking forward to his videos 😊
Ohhh so dramatic hair buddha😂 you do make me laugh..your vids are top notch👌
I dye my hair with demi permanent color (from a box). The other day I decided to follow the instructions exactly. Guess what happened! It worked perfectly! Seriously I have never followed the instructions exactly before (even though I always tell people to do so😜).
When she finished putting it on her ends I was screaming NO rinse it off! LOL
I'm learning and laughing, you are hilarious 😂 "I'm happy you have a second box, but l am also not happy"...
I'm addicted to your vids. So much info, but also such a laugh 🤣.
Finally 😁 I'm out of hair Buddha videos that I haven't seen 🤣
enjoy
@@hair-buddha could you do dos and don't for curly hair (and other types of hair) 😊, a hair dresser once cut my curly hair in layers vertically while sliding the scissors downwards (not sure what that kind of cutting is called) but my hair was so choppy after that for a year, I had to trim and trim a trim untill all the choppiness was gone 🤦🏻♀️🤣
Lol I love you & yur vidyas so much, my dude. Yur so great. And sOoOo very helpful! Thank you! I used to be sOoOo confused about how to dye my hair and what exactly I should and should not mix. Luckily my cousin went to school for doing hair and she's just naturally soOoOo good at doing hair, she's been messing with her own hair ever since we were in middle school and her hair always came out so good, she never messed up. So luckily I always had her to do my hair for me, and she knows me so she knows exactly what I like.
Man I just don't understand some people! They already KNOW what is going to happen if they do what they want with their hair but it goes so totally wrong, then they get soOoOo surprised, I don't understand!!! Lol I have & will NEVER be so stubborn with my hair!! Pleeeaasse men & women, and everything in between, pleeaasse stop doing this to yourselves, my loves!
The volume of toner is listed on box dye where I live, well the one I use does & I've never had trouble with it.
Ele é simplesmente lindo e super divertido 😍🥰💜🤩
Maybe if she styled her hair with waves or curls 🤣🤣👌
Lol. Your reaction is so funny. Love it
thx
I find it rather ironic that most people don't like grey hair, they think it is old looking, do anything to slow its approach, cover it, pluck it and judge others who have it but are dying their hair silver or grey. The mind boggles. 😊
Definitely GREEN 💚 😢!!!😂😂😂
I look forward to these videos. Every time I bleach/dye my hair all I hear is "SECTIONS!!!" 😂
It's 20v to 30v in box colours. In the PLATUNUM lightner LIVE it's 30v
