    I wish this was a video on the 2.10 update, but I filmed this in advance and haven't had a chance to dig into the update yet. It looks amazing though, and doesn't change anything of what I show in this video.

      Don't stress, I am still up to my neck in 2.10. The ability to simply plug in a USB mixer is all I could have asked for....and then there is a whole shit tonne of other new stuff to wade through once I have rewired my complicated 12 channel DAW situation to just 8 channels with no computer and no DAW ....and way less confusion. 🤣

    • @squoblat
      @squoblat 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gabe, it would be cool to see you hook up a small set up using the MPC as the master hub of everything. I think an MPC Live is a serious contender for DAWless now you can have an interface plugged into it.

      I was hoping to find that answer here too. Everything is stet ip as above, but when I hit Do It, it just puts me back on the main screen.
      Perhaps after some restarts this will work and something else will ne broken?
      So far 2.10 seems INSANELY buggy.

    When sampling external instruments, it's a good idea to turn off vibrato and tremolo. Those things can be re-added internally with a LFO, and it'll sound better internally because the rate won't change for each note. If it's baked into the sample, it'll wobble at a different speed for each note within a stride, and that usually isn't desirable.
    Alternately, it also works to set a very narrow note stride... but then it takes a ton of space and there isn't as much room for other instruments.

    Nice video. One frustration is that some screens edit all the keygroups and some edit individual keygroups. You can’t lock “All” so then if you play a note, depending on which screen your in the changes only happen to that keygroup of the note you played. Very frustrating.
