The fact that Lilo means “Lost” and Stitch means “to put together” 😭 Also if you look closely at Nani’s room, you would notice trophies and medals (also Disney easter egg Mulan poster) she won from surfing competitions. Sadly she had to sacrifice that career due to the loss of her parents and the fact that she had to be Lilo’s parental figure now. People praise Frozen for their sisterly relationship when Lilo & Stitch just portrays this best and in the most realistic yet heartwarming manner. Nani deserves more appreciation.
Again, like the feeding-fish thing, there are a lot of background-bible details (like why Lilo takes pictures of fat mainland tourists) that would make all three characters interesting, if Chris Sanders wasn't so close to his own material that he didn't take his offbeatness for granted, and bothered to TELL us these things. I never became a fan of L&S as characters until the cartoon series, which actually was about Lilo and Stitch and not stressed-out Nani, who seems "punished" for being Normal.
I find it so sad that Lilo lost her parents while they were driving in bad weather, so now she feeds a fish that hopefully can keep bad weather from happening again.
Kinda bittersweet when you think about the fact that on the one day she couldn't feed Pudge, the rainy weather and a road accident was exactly what brought her Stitch
"I'll remember you though. I remember everyone who leaves." The poor girl is SO alone. I don't think kids realized that. She doesn't even really have a sister anymore because Nani has to be more of a mother. She has no friends and all the adults think she's weird. And it's all pretty much because of the weather that took her parents. No wonder she's dedicated to Pudge.
I have watched this move far too many times to not remember that line.....and I can't believe I never noticed how much she and I are alike in that regard. I remember everyone that has left(and remember little else) and how I have no more friends except one that lives half a world away. When I was little and didn’t understand anything, I just thought the movie was funny. But when I grew up, it hit deep, it hit really deep. I remember this comment was like Lilo would give food to Pudge the fish so it wouldn’t make it rain because of the car accident that her parents went through 😭
One wee little realistic hint that always gets me is that Nani can't cook. It is considered (dumbly) that women have a natural fondness for cooking, but it's wrong - one may or may not be able to do it. Besides, with all that running around and having to take care for Lilo, I doubt that Nani had a lot of time o learn how to cook
And even before their parents died nani was focused on surfing practice and competitions ( as you can see by the surfing trophies all over her room ) so she wouldn't have focused on cooking
That makes sense, and I hate cooking. Making cakes, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, pudding, egg salad, and grilled cheese--even a meal one time--are one thing, but cooking is just not my thing at all, and I have no desire to learn more from it. It's not like I need to. 😂
We laugh at the part where lilo thinks pudge controls the weather but I thinks it’s sad cuz you realize that she feeds pudge because she believes he actually controls the weather and her parents died in a car crash in bad weather so she feeds him to keep the weather good so no other kid will lose their parents to bad weather again
Can we get a shout out to lilos sister? Shes the actual best sister ever, u see she was a surfer with tons of trophies, she clearly did it Competitively and was really good at it, but she dropped everything she loved to get a shitty job to take care of her little sister. even putting her love life on the back burner. Not once does she discurage lilos imagination and loves hee unconditionally. But shes also clearly has no idea what shes doing. Shes great, lets all be like her!!
Wow I think I just now might have realized why Stitch goes in the Forrest with the book at 28:15. He saw that the little duck was crying and saying "I'm lost" and on the next page his parents showed up. So Stitch tried the same thing in hopes that someone would show up who is his family. After he himself said "I'm lost" he looked around and listened for someone to come. I can't believe I never realized that.
The song in the opening of the movie is He Mele No Lilo and is a tribute to the last Queen of Hawaii before the country's forced annexation into the US. Later Nani sings Aloha 'Oe which means "Fairwell To Thee" originally performed by the the last queen of Hawaii, Lili'uokalani.
Reason why Nani is so good at surfing is because she’s a champion in her room you can see her trophy’s, when she was younger she competed when her parents were alive but when they died she gave up her dream of surfing to take care of Lilo.
Holy crap they did change it. It used to be that, after the first social worker visit, Lilo hid in the dryer. Apparently it was changed to a pizza box to keep kids from thinking they could hide in dryers.
It's really not that bad of a hiding place. Because my mom never blindly turned on the dryer, and I never went into the dryer on laundry day. And even if someone was going to do laundry, I believe I would be smart enough to let them know I am in there.
Fun Fact! Originally there was a scene in the script that explained why Lilo took pictures of the white tourists and put them on her wall. She walks down the street with Stitch and two separate cars of tourists stop and ask her which way the beach is. One of them says "Do you speak English?" and the other yells a mispronounced Hawaiian thank you. Lilo then asks the shop owner if they will test the sirens, they will. She then goes to the beach (where some people say "oh wow an actual native!" and start taking pictures) and proceeds to loudly tell them about the Tsunami siren and about how if it goes off then they have to run. The siren gets tested and freaks out the tourists. Agent Bubbles is left standing there with an eyebrow raised and Lilo says "If you lived here, you would understand." It was a really great commentary on the racism of tourists and how people treat natives as novelties instead of people. The photos are a link to that, where if people can just take photos of Lilo without her consent then she will take photos of the tourists in the same way. Really sucks that it didn't make the final cut.
Personally I think I like it more without those scenes. I felt like the movie said enough without coming off very on the nose about things like tourists. Cool concept though. I always found it interesting that the little red headed girl, one of the only distinctly white characters, is a sort of second or third string antagonist. Speaks volumes without saying much at all.
Random Fact: the chase scene between the space ships at the end originally took place in Honolulu, knocking over buildings and causing people to freak out. Disney had to delay the release of the movie to re-animate the scene to be in the mountains, as 9-11 had happened months earlier and the imagery of a destroyed Honolulu was deemed inappropriate.
One of the most emotional and criminally underrated Disney movies. The bond between Nani and Lilo is so strong. As someone who also has a younger sister, I understand how Nani feels. I would do anything and everything to protect my sister. They have one of the strongest bonds I've ever seen. The music and art is so beautiful. Gotta love Elvis.
There is actually a deleted scene where Lilo tries to show Pudge, the fish she feeds, to Stitch who pushes it away as seagulls kill him. Lilo cries for help but Stitch sits down laughing with a smile on his face in his sadistic nature. After Pudge dies Lilo berates Stitch for letting it happen saying: "You Don't Let Your Family Die" which confuses him as Lilo buries Pudge next to her parent's graves. I think this should've been left in as it's an important part of Stitch's character, he doesn't understand the consequences of his actions and while he loves destruction this is perhaps the first time he's learning about death and the finality of it.
I understand it would've been too dark for a kids movie to add that scene but surely it would've made too much impact on Stich's character development.
So, my brother and his wife really seem to like this movie cause they named their child Lilo. Everytime someone ask her name is "oh but what's her *real* name?" And we're like "LILO, LILO IS HER REAL NAME." I had to explain that to my auntie at least 10 times and she still asks. 😅😅😅😅 Oh, and i don't know about other places but here in Brazil it is not a common name, aparently only 3 other people have it.
@@pixy6007 It's Tantalog. It's made up. Even in the universe of the series itself, it's made up. The language is a combination of like three different languages.
OMG! SO THAT'S THE SONG SHE WAS SINGING 😮 I LOVED Train to Busan! I remember watching that scene then going crazy because I could remember the tune and melody but not the actual name of the song 💀 It sounded so familiar and I tried so hard to remember but couldn't find out where it was from! because it was translated and sung in Korean, and only now am I realising it was this song all along!🤯
Two things that are important : 1) In the scene where Nani wakes up to Lilo using stitch as a record player, you can see trophies for surfing. Nani had a career that she gave up to raise Lilo. That is a lot of devotion. 2) Lilo's and Nani's parents died in a car accident when it was rainy. Which is why she thinks if she sacrifices sandwiches to Putch the Fish, he will be pleased. Her way of overcoming it.
Here's a fun fact: Toothless in the How To Train Your Dragon films was loosely modeled after Stitch. Chris Sanders, the director, worked on both projects.
@NickFlix I don't know if you have seen or reacted to these movies but I would suggest them to you. Song of the Sea The Dark Crystal (Movie & Netlfix Series) The Road to El Dorado The Willoughbys Leafie A Hen Into The Wild (Original/Uncensored Korean Dub Version)
Fun fact: The chase scene with Jumba's ship had to be reanimated right before the movie came out. The sequence was supposed to take place in the city, and the ship was intended to be a hijacked airplane. Guess what caused it to be changed...
im always baffled by the things people didnt watch as a kid or even as a teen, but this one i really am more baffled than ever! lol this movie is such a classic, cant wait to see your reaction!
I was also one of those people who didn't watch the movie as a teen. I was 14 when it came out and really was never interested in watching the movie. It had a kid main character and had aliens, both things I wasn't too interested in. Even as a little kid I always preferred teens and adults to be the main characters in cartoons and generally didn't care for the ones that centered on kids. So I'm sure there are plenty of people that just didn't find the premises that interesting and so didn't watch.
There’s actually an accompanying tv series to this where all the other 625 experiments (Stitch is experiment 626) are released all throughout Hawaii. Definitely check it out if it’s available on Disney+!
Sadly the series is crap compared to the movie (the movie's my absolute favorite!) in my option. While the movie is so heart-touching, the series seems like a typical hyperactive children's show.
Lilo & Stitch is one of my favorite childhood movies. I was told that I would replay the whole movie from start to finish over and over again and that would annoy some people around me during that time. Despite all of that, I still am fond of Lilo & Stitch even until now since it has a lot of memorable lines, characters, and scenes that have sentimental value. Lilo & Stitch is definitely underrated and a true gem.
Interesting fact about the title. In some parts of Hawaii, Lilo is translated to the word "lost". Of course we know to stitch something means to repair. So if you think about it, the literal title means "Lost and Put Back Together".
When I first watched this movie I thought Nani was around 22 and was genuinely shocked she was only 19. She gave up so much because she wanted to keep her family together and it really goes from 'big sis is just being angry and strict' to 'A young woman who at the beginning of adulthood had to put her life on hold to take on a responsibility that's out of her depth but trying her best'
One of the things that makes this movie so amazing is how realistic it is One of the most realistic kid characters of any movie I’ve seen And to have that sister dynamic Top 5 Disney movies of all time
Watching your video always makes me feel better, specially these days bc my parents and my sister got sick (COVID) I've been really worried for them, but your videos really helped my to keep my mind occupied, and i really enjoy them, its like watching a movie with a lot of friends (people from the comments) so thank you so much for another video, i really really love this movie Please take care everyone 😁😅 And thanks again, nick. Have a nice day!
"I didn't expect them to be so angry." Me who has an older sister: That good sir is a *flawless* representation of what sisters are like. "He's definitely evil." Me: Ya didn't pick up on the dramatic irony of Lilo saying "I need someone to be my friend, someone who won't run away. Maybe even send me and *angel* . The nicest angel you have." only for it to be *immediately* followed by Stitch's demonic laughter? "Send me and angel". "Demonic laughter". "That is *not* an angel!".
Hey, I enjoy your reactions very much, thank you 🥰 In Nani's room you can see a lot of trophies she won in surfing competitions, but she gave up her career so she could look after Lilo. I'm looking forward to more videos, just don't forget to have fun while doing it, don't work too hard please 🖤
One of the reasons this movie is so great is because it’s made by the same duo who would go on to make the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. That’s also why Stitch has such a resemblance to Toothless.
it helps nani likes him back like in her diary as lilo stated...otherwise its a bit dicey and fi she didn't its just sad and weird...clearly being a provider for lilo is why she cant fufill her surfing dreams at this age and why she can't have a bf..he gets that...
I remember my dad taking me to see this when it came out, my mum and brother were away for something and I really missed them so it was a treat to cheer me up, such a funny and beautiful film.
Lilo means 'separate' or 'to break' so the tytle of the movie means 'broken and mended' and its about the family situation you should watch the deleted scenes, they are full of comentary on racism and stuff like why Lilo thinks Pudge the fish controls weather (if you think a little you can figure it out)
I love this movie so much! These two misfits and their ohana has a special place in my heart. The comedy is indeed spot on, and even in this reaction, the sad bits made me cry.
There were a few scenes that were different in the original release of the film, like when Jumba a weird barber thingy with tooth paste it was originally a swiss army knife, but the biggest change was the ship chase in the end. In the original release of the film, they were heading to a airport and stole a plane to chase Gantu. But during the chase it was showing the plane flying through buildings and since this came around in 2002 you can guess the reason why they changed.
Interesting bit of trivia: the ending of this movie had to be completely reworked. Why? Well in the original cut they weren't flying a spaceship, but a boeng 737 (your typical passenger airplane). And it wasn't flying through the mountains, it was flying through the city. Unfortunatly the timing couldn't have been worse as right before this film came out the 9/11 attacks happened, so the crew had to hastily re edit the film to what we have now. In related news the scene where Jumba and Stitch destroy the house also had to be re edited due to it originally being considered too violent and intense.
@@ashleymclaughlin6901 yup! My personal favorite role of hers! She knocked it out of the park at just 12 yrs old! Many horror movies have children but they typically aren’t the MAIN antagonist. Daveigh rules!
Fun facts, Nani is 19, this movie takes place in Hanapepe on Kauai, there's a lilo and stitch mural there, lilo takes pictures of tourists because they take pictures of her because she's "a cute native girl"
Hi Nick Flix! I just wanted to say how much I love your videos! And I am so glad you finally watched Lilo and Stitch!!! This movie is definitely one of my favorites. :)
12:07 Oh hey, they changed this scene! For those not in the know, the original version of this scene (on the VHS release of the movie) had Lilo hiding in a washing machine. However, it was removed from TV airings because it was deemed "imitable by kids". I didn't even know they'd changed the scene again until just now.
I’ve said it before, but this movie is from the same directors as the How to Train Your Dragon trilogy. Which while both properties manage to be their own unique thing, you can definitely see elements of design and storytelling that link the two. ❤️
The scene with the spaceship chase through the city was actually redone after the movie was already made. Originally they hijack a plane and chase down Gantu though the city. They changed it because it involved the plane crashing into a building. Right before it was set to be released in theaters, 9/11 happened, and they made the executive decision to delay the release in theaters to reanimate it so now its just a spaceship that LOOKS like a plane.
I really love watching all the cut-scenes that almost made it in! Like the scene where Lilo just points in any directions when tourists ask where the beach is or freaks out an entire beach of tourists by claiming that the alarm pole gives an alarm for a tsunami when it doesn't 😂
One of my alltime favourite scenes in this movie: Jumba:(Sees the wig)"Hey, I want to try it on!" Pleakley:"NO!" Jumba:"....SHHHHAAAAARRRREEE!!!!!!" (Jumps at him) A few things I love about this movie, as it's one of the best Disney films in my mind, up there with the classics like "Beauty and the Beast" is that the characters are realistically proportioned, the story of it being an older sister looking after a younger girl rather than a single parent(like almost all other Disney films)and the mix of the scifi and the real world story seems to fit, even though it should be polar opposites.
❤️ ❤️ ❤️ This is one of my alltime favorite Disney Movies. It's simply perfect and I cry everytime. And there is no real villain, what is nice for a change.
Here’s a couple of fun facts: - The director of this movie, Chris Sanders plays as Stitch. - Jason Scott Lee, the actor who plays David, previously collaborated with Disney in The Jungle Book (1994) and would later work with them again in Mulan (2020).
I helped to run an after school care program with a few other teachers, we watched this movie on a rainy day where the kids couldn't play on the playground, and I'm proud to admit I was a sobbing mess by the end of this film lmao. It's wonderful
this is my favorite Disney movie with Stitch being my favorite character :) I love it so much and seen it so many times I have the whole movie memorized XD my favorite quote is Stitch saying 'this is my family. I found it all on my own. It's little and broken, but still good. Yea, still good.' :D
It's so fun and interesting to watch your expressions change when you watch a movie ^^ Thanks for another wholesome and interesting video! Keep it up and stay safe!
Damn this movie never fail to make me cry. Nani is such a good sister, she try so hard to not lose her little sister ❤️ And poor Lilo is already so lonely
Also, they made a bunch of teasers for this movie where Stitch shows up during iconic moments in other Disney movies. I always liked those. th-cam.com/video/ru0UqJ6xM60/w-d-xo.html
fun fact (actually is a theory): Lilo says the Pudge (the fish) controls the weather because she used to feed him every day, but the day she ended up forgetting to feed Pudge her parents died in an accident during a storm, so she blames herself for her parents death for thinking that it was Pudge's anger at not being fed. Btw, the last thing she have of his parents as a memory is that family photo, and actually this is the reason she has so many photos of people in her wall, because she wants to keep all this memories, even if they are not that important, she wants to keep this memories even if they're not memorable. (It's not my theory, I saw it on a Brazilian channel called Imaginago)
Your reactions were exactly as mine were when I saw this movie back in 2002 at 12 years old. Stitch is a character that really resonated with me on such a deep level he's still a big part of my life today as an adult. He's one of those characters that really hits you and the franchise as a whole is incredible. I wonder how you'd react to Lilo and Stitch 2. It's the only movie that makes me cry so much my head hurts lol. I loved your reactions! It's always great to see how deep this movie hits others.
Lio and stitch is also a pretty nice tv show based on this first one based on the fact that stitch is experiment 626 so there are at least 625 other experiments out there. I recommend watching lilo and stitch 2: stitch has a glitch. It’s also a very good one
The song that Nani sings to Lilo ( 26:54 ) is named Aloha 'Oe, or "Farewell to Thee". She is singing it as a farewell to Lilo, because she thinks she is going to lose her. The song was originally written by Queen Liliʻuokalani of Hawaii in the 19th Century, if I remember correctly. But yeah, heartbreaking scene ;_;
@12:06, if you look at the scene, it is clearly a laundry room with a washing machine, basket full of clothes, an iron and ironing board but no dryer. In the older versions of Lilo and Stich, there was a matching set and Lilo climbed out of a dryer, not a storage container/box. However, in the newer versions, the dryer was changed to a generic storage box because there were some concerns that children would think it was fun to play in the dryer and hurt themselves. So, it was changed.

I used to hide in the dryer with the warm laundry and a book. Always freaked my mom out.
It's really not that bad of a hiding place. Because my mom never blindly turned on the dryer, and I never went into the dryer on laundry day. And even if someone was going to do laundry, I believe I would be smart enough to let them know I am in there.
wtf that's so stupid! Why do they have to keep changing OLD films like that! Just like they changed Lady and the Tramp
@@seacrious wait what? What did they change in Lady and the Tramp?
@@DAMIENDMILLS Well I heard that those siamese cats were 'racist' so they either deleted their characters or only their song
With the changed script, I read the photos as a way for her to “remember everyone that leaves”. Tourists never stay.
@@keganbeavers3464 The thing is about that scene though is that it's also a really good scene for Stitch starting to bond with Lilo
@@leikfroakies fair. I liked how they bonded in the movie as it was.
Maybe a scene like that will make it into an eventual live action version. 🤷🏻♂️
as an adult you realize what lilo and nani really are going through and start to understand why she had burst of anger
You can see the plane stuff in the ship
Everytime someone ask her name is "oh but what's her *real* name?" And we're like "LILO, LILO IS HER REAL NAME."
I had to explain that to my auntie at least 10 times and she still asks. 😅😅😅😅
Oh, and i don't know about other places but here in Brazil it is not a common name, aparently only 3 other people have it.
Legal! '0'
I always appreciated that the characters look Hawaiian without falling into stereotyping, exaggeration, or whitewashing

"Meega nala kweesta" means "I want to destroy." I don't think that it's the equivalent of a curse, but, I'm not sure.
What language is that? Or was it something the writers made up?
@@pixy6007 It's Tantalog. It's made up. Even in the universe of the series itself, it's made up. The language is a combination of like three different languages.

Fun random fact: The song Nani sings when she's saying "goodbye" to Lilo is Alhoa 'Oe - the same song Su'an sang at the end of Train to Busan!
I was hoping he'd recognize it 😭♥️
Aloha*
😭😭😭 stop my tears 😭😭
Pudge controls the weather because the day she didnt feed him was also the day when the storm that killed her parents happened.
Two things that are important :
1) In the scene where Nani wakes up to Lilo using stitch as a record player, you can see trophies for surfing.
And Dean De Blois.

im always baffled by the things people didnt watch as a kid or even as a teen, but this one i really am more baffled than ever! lol this movie is such a classic, cant wait to see your reaction!
David is mvp
He saved Stitch, clearly cares for Lilo, and found Nani a job when she needed it most. Hope him an Nani got together someday.
Complete with a crossover episode featuring Kim Possible. Oh-Kay…? 😅
I’ve seen all the lilo and stitch reactions on TH-cam, never seen one where someone didn’t know stitch was good, loved the reaction!
If my future kids aren't exactly like Lilo I am sending them back. She is hilarious.
Fun fact: The voice of Jumba was David Ogden Stiers who also voiced Cogsworth in "Beauty and the Beast" and Ratcliffe in "Pocahontas".

One of the things that makes this movie so amazing is how realistic it is
One of the most realistic kid characters of any movie I’ve seen

"I didn't expect them to be so angry."
Me who has an older sister: That good sir is a *flawless* representation of what sisters are like.
"He's definitely evil."
Me: Ya didn't pick up on the dramatic irony of Lilo saying "I need someone to be my friend, someone who won't run away. Maybe even send me and *angel* . The nicest angel you have." only for it to be *immediately* followed by Stitch's demonic laughter? "Send me and angel". "Demonic laughter". "That is *not* an angel!".
Hey, I enjoy your reactions very much, thank you 🥰
In Nani's room you can see a lot of trophies she won in surfing competitions, but she gave up her career so she could look after Lilo.
David is the best Disney boyfriend, it's just fact
it helps nani likes him back like in her diary as lilo stated...otherwise its a bit dicey and fi she didn't its just sad and weird...clearly being a provider for lilo is why she cant fufill her surfing dreams at this age and why she can't have a bf..he gets that...
Technically he wasn't boyfriend until (probably) ending montage. But we get your point.
I remember my dad taking me to see this when it came out, my mum and brother were away for something and I really missed them so it was a treat to cheer me up, such a funny and beautiful film.
The lilo&stitch franchise is huge. And that makes me very happy. Several follow up movies and a tv show. 😁
Still can't decide between: "Ooh, I love this song!", "I'll make you taller, and not so fluffy" "I LIKE FLUFFY!" or "Leave my mother out of this!"
It's "Leave my mother out of this!" for me haha David Ogden Stiers brought to life so many brilliant Disney characters.
@@ifeelpretty5790 in what scene?
Jumbaa also has an ex-wife
Lilo means 'separate' or 'to break' so the tytle of the movie means 'broken and mended' and its about the family situation
you should watch the deleted scenes, they are full of comentary on racism and stuff like why Lilo thinks Pudge the fish controls weather
(if you think a little you can figure it out)
I love this movie so much! These two misfits and their ohana has a special place in my heart. The comedy is indeed spot on, and even in this reaction, the sad bits made me cry.
Lilo and Stitch was my obsession when it came out... I'm not gonna lie... it still is😁😁😁
There are also two sequels and a series to this movie.
3 sequels
And the anime "Stitch!"
Fun fact: the voice actor of lilo also did chihiro on spirits away😊
Daveigh Chase also plays Samara Morgan in the Ring.
@@ashleymclaughlin6901 yup! My personal favorite role of hers! She knocked it out of the park at just 12 yrs old! Many horror movies have children but they typically aren’t the MAIN antagonist. Daveigh rules!

This might not be the best Disney movie but it certainly is one of best from the 2000's decade. I hope you react to Raya and the Last Dragon soon.
Yeah, Raya and the last Dragon is awesome, I think.
This is a great movie! I live in Hawaii and my family is born and raised here for generations. On Kauai, we do act like that as a local thing.
Fun facts, Nani is 19, this movie takes place in Hanapepe on Kauai, there's a lilo and stitch mural there, lilo takes pictures of tourists because they take pictures of her because she's "a cute native girl"
I feel like the animators kept changing Jumbaa's design a little bit throughout the movie. He got skinnier and skinnier while his eyes got bigger.
this movie hits different as an adult
Elvis was Real Big in Hawaii and Japan.
Wait dumb question but I remember watching this movie way before 9/11 did they rerelease in theaters or something?

Jumba:"....SHHHHAAAAARRRREEE!!!!!!" (Jumps at him)
A few things I love about this movie, as it's one of the best Disney films in my mind, up there with the classics like "Beauty and the Beast" is that the characters are realistically proportioned, the story of it being an older sister looking after a younger girl rather than a single parent(like almost all other Disney films)and the mix of the scifi and the real world story seems to fit, even though it should be polar opposites.

If you watched the end of the picture credits, the last picture is her family photo with Stitch attached. =)
fun fact (actually is a theory):
Lilo says the Pudge (the fish) controls the weather because she used to feed him every day, but the day she ended up forgetting to feed Pudge her parents died in an accident during a storm, so she blames herself for her parents death for thinking that it was Pudge's anger at not being fed.
Dude this was my absolute favorite movie since I was a toddler, and still is now even tho I'm an adult. I had so many Stitch plushies growing up haha
The song that Nani sings to Lilo ( 26:54 ) is named Aloha 'Oe, or "Farewell to Thee". She is singing it as a farewell to Lilo, because she thinks she is going to lose her. The song was originally written by Queen Liliʻuokalani of Hawaii in the 19th Century, if I remember correctly. But yeah, heartbreaking scene ;_;
2:58 ngl I definitely love the animation and the movement speeds on the alien guns looks so sick
Finally.....a reaction of something animated. Been waiting a long time for something like this on this channel.
