I love Larry "I can't believe you can drive this in the streets" meanwhile in South Fort Worth all I see is prerunner builds coming in and out of their ranches. I just met a guy around the corner from me who use to build for some race teams and now he's doing some crazy builds like this for the streets. So cool to see the offroad enthusiast building for the streets.
Yeah, I actually kind of confused. Its totally street legal in California, and I see trucks in the same vain (not as nice) around here (inland SoCal) everyday.
'One'...WELL Thought OUT...Pre Runner!! With Heat & AC...Street LEGAL!!...Who needs a Exotic Lambo! ..I'll 'Take' THIS EVERYTIME!!! Great Job Boy's!! Hey Larry...Awesome VIDEO!!
Nice! < You can see a little bit of my 1973 Ford F 100 short bed, 4X4. I've owned it for 35 years and did the work myself. Used to be an AZ truck I rodded and drove to work. Beefed and lifted, Lockright Locker in the back, beefed rear housing, Rancho shocks, NP 205 transfer case mod, power steering disc brake mod, coils and leaf mods, 4:11 gears, 1964 high nickel FE block, 390 bored to 411 cid now, Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch, Edelbrock Performer package carb, intake, cam, lifters, Headman Headers, Flowmaster Desert Racing Mufflers shotgunned out the side in front of the rear tires, custom interior and seats. I've run this truck hard! Broke the spindles off on 2 occasions from jumping it, mountain climbing, rock crawling, busted u-joints in half, snapped off the output shaft of the transfer case cuz I didn't have the front locked in, rock crawling on sandstone, something has to give, lol. It still runs so good! Kids in the neighborhood go crazy when they see me drive it, LOL. I come out of a store and people are walking around my truck, lol. People in WA are not used to seeing a desert pre-runner style truck. I did a lot of Alum diamond plate for fun, carry spares and tool boxes. I laugh at the new trucks, LOL. No scratches, enormous tires, never dirty, lol. I stripped this thing, rewired it, hid all the wiring, put an alum diamond plate firewall in it. Almost bullet proof now. My baby to the end! Wouldn't consider selling it for anything. Thanks for inspiring me to write an autobiography of my truck! LOL. I love my truck! can ya tell? I've met more guys who told me they used to have one and wish they still did, lol.
Very nice truck, lots of ideas, but I’m so glad that the new 7.3 has come out. That’s the only thing I would change about this build. The grill is a 76 grill.
I really do dig your videos more. You actually let your guests talk and explain in detail about the vehicle. Vs the rest of the hoon guys. Owner of the truck: yeah it had 32” of trav... The guys: ITS GOT 32” OF TRAVEL!!! THATS A WRAAAAAAAP!!!!
Very thankful you survived the drive! Great honesty toward Tribe 16 for building a one off truck👍 as far as the raptor destruction jump....I can only think that no matter where you first saw it we all said the exact same thing watching it for the first time.....
Truck builds like this start long before the first dive into the parts catalogs. There’s a tremendous amount of effort put into affordability and planning. Probably obvious but it’s worth mentioning. Thousands of hours of work go into these projects and many skilled craftsmen are involved. What they’ve created here is probably the most fun in the universe. This is a good overview of this truck but I’d love to see a detailed tour including vendors and what was hand made.
Holy shit I used to work across the street from Tribe16 in Haltom City, TX. I remember when they brought this truck into their shop like 4 years ago and they were telling us all the plans for this truck. Its cool to see it finished
For everyone complaining about the LSX, you can be a Ford fan and still realize that the LS series motor’s are basically the cheapest way to make big power
Think Texas, open carry, he's known to be kinda nuts and the fact this guy dont mind broken windows for just a moment. Fairly sure when he does park it, he don't go to far. Also just think where this guy lives everyone knows him and his trucks. So would you risk it. I value my life more than that. JMO
@@DIGGER19860 Wow someone is the defensive type. He is crazy as shit and has proved his reputation through action. However, I'm from AZ. . Where we have concealed an open carry without permits. So who cares. “I’m not good at math”. “Each tire is 130lbs. That makes them [2 tires] almost 250lbs”. Touché Amazing truck though. And that Raptor jump was epic! I remember when I first saw it years ago.
Think I seen an earlier version of this truck at one of the races in Laughlin Nevada in 2017. I have pics of it not sure if it's the same truck cause there is many differences but 73 extended cab f100 pre-runner are not something you see every day. Out of the 100"s of race teucks in Laughlin through out the year for the different races I have only seen one old school super cab ford
If you go to Texas you have to stop by Tribe 16 aswell..... Ya know they are having a crawfish boil in april..... That would be a perfect time for you to visit.
I love that truck but I hate the fact it has an LS motor now that Ford builds the new 7.3 L gas engine the Godzilla you should build one of those and put in it

The thing I love about Larry most is his coverage. Always something new and unique getting featured. Awesome work!
And he appreciates it all so much
That engine sounds great, and i love the look of the old ford trucks
I was thinking it sounded flatulent...now I know why; because they put a shitty chevy in it;... so that's me gone !!
arkhsm ford Bru the LS engine is probably the best engine ever made
@@arkhsm 🤣🤣 every mustang drops its coyote for the LS. Simple reason, its just better.
@@jonellwanger7258 Not really but ok.
Man the sound of those doors opening and closing is so good. U know the sound!

I see them around too. Usually in Mansfield/Waxahachie area. Makes me want coilovers for my truck lol
Yeah, I actually kind of confused. Its totally street legal in California, and I see trucks in the same vain (not as nice) around here (inland SoCal) everyday.
i see swamp buggies 24/7 living here in rural florida
I cant believe how much this truck fits being a pre runner. Like it just looks like thats what its always been and meant for!!

The light bar is just 👌 this is the best looking body style
guy is a boss, tells the whole nation he drinks ''water'' while racing lol
if ur gonna drink and drive this sure is the way to do it
This dude must have been a foot taller before that jump.
my spine hurts just watching it
Man this guy became a legend after that Raptor jump😂😂. Never thought I'd meet the dude behind the wheel after so many years. Also, Larry is killing it
Dream truck right there 🤙
Hell yeah! Clean and functional. Let’s see it rip at the ranch

I’m not huge on trucks but honestly with all of the pre-runner coverage Larry has done recently I’ve fallen in love with them.
LOVE HOW THE BAJA LIGHTS ARE IN THE FORD LOGO
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! TOTALLY AWESOME ENGINEERING!!!!
Can’t imagine the physical presence this thing has. I’d like to see more of this guys toys
Holy Moly that is one amazing truck.

Hell yes dude. Go to the ranch. Who wouldn't want to see all that. Another great video!
This thing was so sick. This needs more Hoonigan videos for sure.
Yes Larry we want to see this man’s ranch ASAP! Awesome truck and cool guy.
You filmed this like 100 yards from where I camped for Hammers. Thanks for getting content out fast!
That front end with the LED integrated everywhere and it looks stock!!!!

Truck owner: *ive always been a ford fan*
Also truck owner: *theres a 454 CHEVY LS under the hood*
Keep up the good work Larry, no show on TV was as good as this!
I love how chilled old mate is when he's driving. The "yeah I'll be back soon with the bread and milk" expression on his face haha.
Truck is sick but bummed to see an ls under the hood. Also they didn’t make an extended cab ford until 75 I believe
It’s called a supercab. And I feel you man, I’m tired of seeing the mixed race trucks!
Damn man, this truck is literally perfect in my oppinion.
Love the old Ford extended cabs
Yes, let's see more!
This thing is a beast, great build!
6:02 "I've always been a big Ford fan". Yep let's get that LSX 454 in there so I can continue to be a big Ford fan.
Dream truck. So much cash and time in that truck
That truck is STUNNING!!! Beautiful build!!!
Wow with how high that condensor sits looks like hood wouldn't close. Always love the old f100 body style

Cold blooded old ford
Killer truck and interview

Larry's shit eatin grin after that high speed run at the end says it all! Awesome truck!

Awesome looking FORD. Street legal is better
Basically what I would want in a prerunner. Skip the LSX though.
