Thank you very much for your greeting. The reason why you can play the same melody on the bagpipes for so many years is that every time you play - you are playing a transformed instrument. It is never quite the same.
It is a beautiful classical style instrument and easy to reed. Absolutely no problems and the rest is up to you and your blowing. Mine is pure silver and bought direct from Stuart Liddell. Buying an old one with ivory is foolish today due to legislation as you are not allowed to resell it.
Learned the tune at 10 years old . 70 now and still play it great tune

Great work on this tune. very clear and clean!
Thank you very much
One of my favourite tunes👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A good composition with a catchy melody and flow. And also easy to remember over many decades.
Thanks Ralph. One day my tuorluath will be as fast as yours!!
Thank you. TuorluathIt only needs to reflect the speed of the other movements and maintain the rhythm of the melody.
@@88Ralph1 You say that but..... ;))
A small technical problem , the fingers and the music are not synchronized
I know. I only realized it later. The delay is 0.7 seconds which I have compensated for in later recordings. You learn something new all the time
Ralph- excellent playing- I’m looking into getting a set of these..Would you recommend them? How have they held up for you?
