Ive been scratching my head for years on the quadrunner i have. I the crank case fills with gas. Ive messed with it so much im about to thow in the towel. But im to stubborn for that. I already wasted money on a Amazon carb last year that was a complete mess. Im thinking about trying the carb you put in the description. But im a bit timid cause this quadrunner has been a major pain. It was a beast when it ran.
Gas in the crank case? Definitely a carb issue. The float needle isn’t sealing off. If you still have the original oem carb for that four wheeler. I would take the Amazon carb off and use the parts out of it to rebuild the original one. Yes working on them can get to a person. Sometimes you just got to walk away for a day or two. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
I have rebuilt my Ozark 250 carb due to bogging down while giving throttle and still does the same thing. It fires up and idles perfectly but 1/4 to 1/2 throttle Boggs down. New plug, filter, rebuild kit. Any thoughts on where to go from here? Video was great!
Thanks for watching. Sounds like the top diaphragm on the carb is loosing prime and getting to much airflow. Have you replaced it and the diaphragm on the side? I would check them first.
@@crankitt825 I have not yet. I checked them and seem to be fine but think I’ll order some replacements and try it again. I have 2 of the same 4 wheelers so I am going to swap the carbs today to eliminate any other issues other than diaphragm
@@crankitt825 definitely carb is trash somewhere more than likely one of the diaphragms. Going to order the Mikuni rebuild kit that comes with everything
Hi and thanks for watching. I never seen a brass cover over the air fuel screw. Is the carb a OEM carburetor or an aftermarket? Don’t drill it out. Rebuild the rest of the carb and leave the original air fuel screw alone. Hope this helps and be sure to like and subscribe to our channel.
I accidentally messed with the idle adjuster/knob. Quad still doesn’t run after a carb clean and it has spark. Do you know where the sweet spot is on the idle adjuster?
Setting the idle should be easy. Sounds like to me you’re still having trouble with the carb or the intake boot. Check your intake for cracks and recheck the diaphragm on the carburetor. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for this great video.
You’re very welcome. Glad we could help.

Sounds like a good game plan. Let us know how it turns out. Thanks for watching

That’s what it sounded like to me. So glad we could help you out. Be sure to watch our other videos. Thanks
There is a brass cover over the air fuel screw do I have to drill that out?
