Oh gosh, wow! I once saw Taylor Mac perform and it was a wonderful and special experience. Some of the things he said and sang have stayed with me for years. I do hope we can see this doco in Australia at some point…

I missed this show but I've seen Taylor in The Lily's Revenge and HIR and I can't think of a more significant American artist at this point in time. Genius.
I saw Taylor Mac.....back in 2009, at a small venue in some obscure part of Canada. It was great!

You mean those that cannot watch? That is so sad indeed, as this is brilliant. I was one of Judy Garland‘s pall bearers in Melbourne in 2017 and it was really great especially when we actually walked up the stairs onto the stage instead of carrying her in front of the stage as planned. There’s even a video where judy stopped singing and said “I did not expect them to come up the stairs…”
Your soul needs this show. Save yourself and watch it!

Alas, i’ve never seen a trailer with more spoilers. 🫣 i urge people who have not seen the film to NOT watch or share this promotional piece before experiencing the unforgettably beautiful and important film.
Just read one of the many ecstatic reviews to get an idea of why you would want to watch this -then invite your loved ones to join you.
Don’t get me wrong; it’s a beautifully-made promo… and marvelous to revisit AFTER you’ve seen the film.
