I also see a lot of people freaking out about Rudeus' relic. First you have to understand that the protagonist came to that world being a pervert/depraved, which is why he steals those panties. But the point is that the respect and admiration for Roxy is underestimated. If people understood that Rudeus is not a panty fetishist, it's those panties that represent closeness to Roxy. I mean, it could be anything as long as it belongs to Roxy, but it just happens to be panties because it was the first thing he got. But what would most of you do in his shoes or anyone else's would you be the hero or the villain? Be like the spear hero? Or like the shield? We act like we're so morally bound by our ways to not see what is reality of fiction and real life. Most people would think they would be the hero but instead stand in the background side characters.
