I have run an aerator over our pastures for quiet a few years, so much so that I am having to replace the tips on the shanks. ;) I drag on old harrow from the back of my renovator to knock down any clods and scatter the manure. Really helps. And, when I put out winter rye, the rain washes some of the seed into the rows and it looks like I planted it in rows! ;)

I’d imagine in areas where water seems to runoff more when it rains a lot, running the renovator perpendicular to that can help slow it down and get in the ground better. I got one as well and did that in one field but we haven’t had much rain either to notice a big difference yet
