Hi Guys Pilot here! In this video we will over the process of starting, FMC setup, MCP setup and take off in the PMDG 737. I made this beginner friendly as much as I could. I hope this video is helpful. Ill be releasing more videos diving deep into the PMDG 737.

just to give constructive feedback: this would be easier to follow if the cockpit was brighter. If the video was shot during the daylight hours so everrything is well illuminated, it would be easier to see what you're clicking and stuff. Thanks! nice video though, easy to follow!

great great video with all we need to start this beautiful plane on xbox. Just question, our nav from airac is out of date, don't know the importance of it for f/s but sometimes I see videos and many people have some runways for sid or start that is not showing on mine. It has something to do with airac out of date? Is there any way we can update it? My very best regards
The FMC is not that hard to figure out it just takes practice like you said I actually understand more why pilots use it so much

Great tutorial. It just made me wonder how long real 737 pilots spend prepping the aircraft before take-off? Granted they are always present when we passengers board the plane.

If you press Alt L, you can have a flashlight. If you have a keyboard
Or you can turn on the panel and flood lights.
@@Pilot0083I'm having trouble e.g when it says v1 ..v2 and positive rate of climb all I here is ( V1 ) NOTHING eles Even doing the fmc 100% and checked the settings in fmc all sound effects are on! I've restarted the game and my xbox see if that helps
@@WarrenMford I had the same problem, but with a bit of research I found out that in the sound settings you need to turn off headphone simulation.

need help. When I start my flight with this plane, the 2 front screens of the pilot are not turned on. where the heights are seen and the other where the airways are seen. I don't know what happens.
Just wondering if you know how to set up the pmdg for when its on final approach it gives the “approaching minimums” and “minimums” callouts?

Thanks for the video! How do you get the ground power switch to ON? When I press it , it goes up, to OFF position. The mouse scroll wheel doesn’t seem to work for this knob..
It seems like if you click on the side of the switch that’s in the direction that you want it to move, it will go that way. If you want the switch down, click the bottom part of it. I use a mouse and it works like almost 100% of the time for me

What happened at 32:00 My N1 light never came on after taking off! Your sound went quiet and turned on automatically.
I learned N2 at 25% then add the fuel.
How do you accelerate on controller? Is it still A or not?

hey man, im having some truble, i have the 737 on the series s, and i have a problme where the rudder won't move and the gear doesnt come up, i have tried reinstalling but stil have the same issue. anything i can do?

Every time I spawn at the airport the plane is already turn on, the batteries, even though I'm at a gate, how did you get it to be a cold and dark start?

possibly this coming thursday. they are def. releasing a pack. It should be $5. I think they’re trying to get the DC6 liveries out first and then the 737 ones should come. May be a couple weeks, we’ll see

My trim setting came to 5.12 on FMC, but my trim wheel would not go above 4.10
@@Pilot0083 yes but I haven’t tried the trim buttons on Hotas Joystick
I’ve tried the Hotas Joystick but the trim wheel won’t go beyond 4.10 and I get an error message displayed on overhead cockpit
The problem is in settings options msfs2020. The AI auto trim needs to be set to OFF
So I did all those steps for the takeoff and my aircraft still didn’t follow the flight path. I use an Xbox series X

Whenever I click release ground power or remove chocks , plane shuts off losing ground power …….anyone else having this issue ? Or is there something I’m doing wrong
