    Jesus man. I wish you were around when I was first learning the 737. Such a good teacher - you take your time and simplify everything. Thanks for your videos.

    I looked at several videos regarding the FMC and start-up but this one and the previous are by far the best. I especially like the arrows that point to the right switch.
    thanks for your good work!

      Great to hear! I spend a lot of time to make these as accessible & easy to follow as possible.

      last week I made a short video from a flight so I know from my own experience how much work is involved in making these kind of videos. Again, thanks and keep on going with it!

    These tutorials are great! I’m a beginner and find a majority of the videos on TH-cam to be too advanced for my level. These are the few tutorials where I can watch the entire video without clicking off and search up missing information. You are also very understandable which is very much appreciated as a foreign speaker!

    You are doing a great job. The best video tutorial regarding the 737 pmdg simplifying the handling of this complex airplane. Congratulations

    Hi! Excellent tutorial, I have watched the FMC setup video before this and have graduated onto this video. I’m having one problem. I’m also on XBOX, and the screen in between the two FMC’s that displays the n2 is black and I can’t see any startup data and not sure how to turn it on. Any suggestions?

      @FlightSimSchool  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On the main instrument panel, just above the PFD & the ND, there is a switch called Lower DU, with 3 positions, selecting one should turn the screen back on if it's off, I think

    I thought when you bug up to flap speed it basically just affects the flight director for you to follow manually as there is no autopilot on at this point. Don’t think I’ve had auto throttle kick in. I may well be wrong

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  ปีที่แล้ว

      The autopilot isn’t on, but my understanding is the auto throttle operates separately from it.

    Hi just came across yer channel. Just have a wee issue I can't seem to get the thrust leavers to move with that A and B botton on Xbox controller. Am on Xbox.

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sounds like a binding issue, have a look under control options to see if throttle 1 and 2 are set to those buttons

    Do you keep battery power during the flight, or you turn it off before take off?

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I leave it on, only turn it off at the other end

    Hello, how can I delete a saved flight plan from the -flt plan request tab?

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I believe if you go into the flight plans, you can press the DELETE key to remove them. Otherwise, there is a folder in the community folder for the airplane where you can delete them manually

    After I turn on the Engines, I get a check which says “ENG FAIL” and the engines don’t want to turn on:( Did everything step by step but the engines just don’t wanna turn on. Can someone help?

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It sounds like a failure, which you can reset in the fmc in the maintenance section under ground services. Also check all the fluids are topped up while you’re there. If it still doesn’t work, try loading the runway panel state in the pmdg menu of the fmc and see if they start that way.

    Im having a problem where vnav wont click any help?

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Mary, check the LEGS, CRZ & CLB pages to make sure you don't have a change that needs to be EXEC'd. That's usually been the problem for me. I've also seen it not want to turn on until I'm airborne, so I can't arm it on the ground.

    when im in flight on my mfd it dosnt say ynav path like yours or the rest of the tutorials,i did everything you did and it wont work?

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Try pressing the ALT INTV button, it's the round black button next to the altitude knob if it's in VNAV SPD

    when pressing LNAV it deactivates itself

    • @FlightSimSchool
      @FlightSimSchool  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s probably because the flight plan isn’t activated. Also check the CLB and CRZ pages to make sure nothing needs to be activated there

      I made the conscious choice of leaving it out since it wasn't necessary for a successful first flight.
