"T'amo" is an emotional song: at the beginning Mahmood tells his mother "It’s not easy to raise the one who for a half reminds you the person who has left you alone. Family means staying here in two even if it’s hard. Don’t worry, mum, the strength is of those who can survive". I think this lyrics are really poignant.

Sabri aleel is an old famous egyptian love song but in this performance the music is a mix of arabic and salentinian-griko (so from salento, south italy) music. This because mahmood is an italian singer with egyptian heritage by father and here he is performing during the Notte della Taranta, an annual famous event of salentinian music. I can suggest you also the performance of diodato "beddha ci dormi" from la Notte della Taranta 2020. La Notte della Taranta 2020 was an edition without live audience because of covid, so only with orchestra and artists

Ciao Angelo ... Dal minuto 12.23 al minuto 12.58 sta cantando un pezzo di una canzone d'amore in sardo che si chiama " non potho reposare " e questa è la traduzione di quel pezzettino :

Thanks for reacting for unusual Mahmood songs. I love every songs of him, he is gifted for composing addictive and memorable melodies. He has a wonderful voice and I agree that he can still improve on that part. His charisma, swag, and his unique aura are mesmerising. the second one is a new version of a song called “no potho reposare” by an italian old group(Tazenda) from Sardinia. The original song is all in sardinian accent and Mahmood takes the refrain. I think it’s beautiful

La versione dei Tazenda è presa anch'essa dalla canzone tradizionale scritta nel 1915da salvatore Sini e musicata da Rachel nel 1920. I diversi cori di Nuoro hanno sempre cantato questa canzone decenni prima dei Tazenda . La splendida versione dei Tazenda rimarrà per sempre ricordata grazie alla bellissima voce e alla immensa bravura di Andrea Parodi.
