    Thanks Robert, very informative video. The one issue I am facing with Cgd capacitor is that PMOS false turn-on during input power turn-on. How to avoid a false turn-on of PMOS? I have two common source PMOS switch which is controlled by low-side NMOS.

      Hi Nikhil, thanks for the comments. Yes, I use a version of this circuit with a n channel device to turn it on. Adding a capacitor to the gate to source helps with false turn on . Again, thank for your inputs!

    Thanks Mr. Robert for the video it was so informative, I want to ask what is the functionality of the resistor R1026 connected in parallel with the MOSFET?

      Hi Yacine, That is a good question. It is for simulation purpose to remove the slow start circuit. I inserted across the drain and source to see the effect with and without the slow start circuit. To remove it I simply change the resistance to 1T which is teraohms which can be considered to be an open. Happy New Year to you!

    Hi Robert, Great video. Thanks for posting. I had one question on the circuit. since gate voltage(in steady state) is divided version of source, Vgs I presume would be -ve and would the transistor be on at all in steady state?

    Hi Robert I watched your videos on WCA , could you please make videos on WCA on electrolytic capacitor lifetime estimation wca and any opamp based circuit.
