Berlin talking how school should better prepare us for adulthood and how a toxic home life takes a toll on a kid really resonated with me. When I was school I had to deal a some what toxic household and shitty people at school. I can't tell how many I prayed for one person to care and they never did, not even a teacher. It ultimately did effect my mental health drastically to the point where I almost did end. But thankfully I managed to pull through. Not every kid is like that though, some actually go through it. All they need was a little bit of kindness, just for them to that someone cares so they don't feel alone. It doesn't take much for you to ask someone, "Are you okay" or "How are you today".
i have shitty ass parents so Berlin i be feeling some type of way hearing you or seeing you with your loving mom. really makes me feel jealous but also happy for you and your family to have her and your dad. blessings to y’all fr. not everyone is blessed with loving adults like that.

The way berlin talks about the parents. I am one of those children who had arguing parents and literally locked myself in my room for a long time. This was a reality for me throughout 5th to 12th grade. Thankfully I was able to find beautiful friends and learned how to find love in myself and my little siblings. Im not perfect but for those who relate, you are loved and capable of being loved abundantly.❤

Growing up my parents argued and fought all the time until I was 9, Dad finally had enough and left. I'm 33 and still never received any parental love from Mom. Watching TH-cam, playing games, and reading books is more important than me. I'm used to being invisible and not allowed to talk or Mom will get angry and I get punished. I'm super quiet because of that. I do all the chores in the house and not allowed to sleep until it's all done so I developed insomnia that got worse over the years. When Grandmother passed away my misery got a little better because Mom is slack with me when it comes to chores. Don't care if I put it off for another day as long as it gets done.

This was most definitely my favorite chillasart game. Mainly because it touches on actual things that people go through in real life. And I love how it touches on the bullying that goes on in Japan or Asian countries in general.

I remember hearing someone say you target softness with hardness, and hardness with soft in regards to martial arts, but I know it applies to life too in a way. Going against Michael with hardness would've only escalated things from what I would guess. I feel like people like him don't really realize what they're doing, or don't realize the extent of what it is they're doing until something is done that contradicts them
This really put it into perspective that Berlin is human and deserves to be treated as such. Like people constantly put pressure on him to make certain videos and not to mention the possible pressure he puts on himself. I remember growing up school was hell, home was hell...my only solace was within my imagination or in video games or books. About the bringing back the Sidekick, absolutely! I'm glad to hear at last that I'm not the only one who wishes cell phones with physical keyboards would be made and sold again. I've never seen a Sidekick before but I'm here for it 100%
