Hey, I used my power washer to clean my grill, and all the parts. Don't hesitate to try that next time. I was careful about the exterior button parts, but everything else got a power rinse after I scrubbed it.
Great dedication to the task and great outcome! That's funny that while cleaning the disgusting grill, the smell of steak is emitted and Brandon thinks "Hmmm.... Now I'm hungry." 😆
Omg, timing on this couldn't be better! Shop vac.... 🤦♀️ Not once did I think to use it for our grill. And we've a grill just like that one. 🌟Thank you🌟
I think that we need to invent an industrial sized dishwasher just for cleaning barbecues and oven stuff, or maybe access a church's restaurant sized dishwasher? Do you have access to a church's restaurant sized dishwasher to experiment with? I think that it would save a lot of labour.
wow! what a thing of beauty! very inspirational to clean my grill. quick q: how does all that water not ruin the gas bits??? also, can you use the zep oven cleaner on self-cleaning ovens (not with the self cleaning feature)
Just started following you, could you advice how to clean kitchen tiled floor which had turned Lille blackish with layer of dirt & also laminate floor in same situation?
Fantastic job! Sometimes you amaze me with how you manage to get things so clean though sometimes there is a lot of elbow grease needed. Just wondering, have you heard about pouring some fabric softener in the toilet to stop things sticking to the sides? I'm just wondering what your thoughts are about this.
I don't typically add anything to the toilet after cleaning. If there are issues with sticking I will do a light cleaning a little more often. Hope that helps! 😀
Cleaning, for me, stresses me out. The very thought of having to clean something the next day freaks me out from the previous day morning. I try to procrastinate a lot because it's so exhausting. I start cleaning in the morning and the next thing I know, it's like the end of the day and I'm dead tired but I haven't even cleaned half of what I was supposed to for the day. It feels like 24 hours isn't enough for me. This gets me angry and then stressed out the next time I have to clean it and then I start to procrastinate until I have no choice but to do it. It's kind-of like a vicious cycle. People around me say that I overdo it but I've never felt so. It always seems to me that I have missed something, that I haven't done enough. I've felt that I haven't been efficient enough. I feel like I need to follow the proper procedure to do it. I'd like to have my place as clean, as neat and tidy as possible. Ironically, I'm kind-of a hygiene-freak. But it feels like I have no social life, no time for other chores (let alone "me" time), when I get to cleaning. Edit: I spend hours doing research on the correct way to do anything, cleaning in this case. The right products to use..., The right way to use them..., The right way to maintain them etc...
Also cleaning products needed to take care of All cleaning needs around the house? In each areas of the house. Kitchen bathrooms, living rooms, bedrooms. Like for kitchen I keep adding on different products thinking this might work better, that might work better , now I have whole mess of cleaning liquids in my kitchen sink. Please advice the cleaning solution & tools actually needed in the kitchen to take care of all cleaning jobs needed in the kitchen, without adding heap of product inside my under sink kitchen cabinet. So I could throw out the stuff not needed. Similarly the cleaning liquids, tools/ gadgets needed for other area of the house to tackle all cleaning needs. Like 1or two products that could tackle all cleaning needs without adding a mess of products to already limited space.
I was seriously looking for guides and even courses(online or offline) for total beginners like me. I will haven't found one that's suitable. I still have so many questions w.r.t. cleaning. I'm so confused. I really need some help starting with planning. As a fan of your work, I'd really appreciate it if you could do a beginner's series with all the details and one-room-at-a-time complete cleaning, the right way.
I have mixed feelings about this cleanup. As long as the gas tubes are in good shape the grill will work. Removing the bottom solids and the accumulated grease in the pan is necessary but I don't deep clean the cast iron grill grates (or flavor bars). The grates will have to be re-seasoned before first use.
I'm a total beginner in cleaning a house(my own house) let alone professionally. I also have a thing against contamination. I have no idea what all cleaning supplies I need to use, what kind of cleaning cloths, scrubs, paper, wipes, brushes, sponges (how many of the above should be disposable and how many not), and other tools and how many to use them. I don't what the right chemicals, the right approach needed for cleaning. I don't even know where to start let alone planning a routine for daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal and yearly cleaning. I end up wasting time, energy and resources. I also am worried about cross-contamination during cleaning and also of the cloths and other tools used for cleaning. Even if I have started cleaning, it is very slow and I realise I haven't even achieved half of what I'm supposed to for the day and it's already evening when I had started by mid-morning. I really need a from-scratch, complete, ultimate, step-by-step guide series for total beginners like me with every detail, trips and tricks, etc. Maybe certain aspects are different based on the house I'm living in, the design, availability of cleaning tools, cleaning products and resources. I'm from India. Things are different there. But i really need some help with the cleaning/maintenance education.
Yes! Keep things out of the landfill!!! 🤩

AMAZING! What a great job you did! You give the rest of us the gumption to attack our own " grills of shame"!😅

Let's Go Brandon! Great job on cleaning that grill
WOW 😮 Great job! 😊
Are you scrubbing with an SOS/brillo pad? Will this scratch the stainless steel? I'm trying to hype myself up to clean a grill we bought second hand.
wow! what a thing of beauty! very inspirational to clean my grill. quick q: how does all that water not ruin the gas bits??? also, can you use the zep oven cleaner on self-cleaning ovens (not with the self cleaning feature)
Wondering about gas bits too. Did the grill work after cleaning? Did you get your steak?
Just started following you, could you advice how to clean kitchen tiled floor which had turned Lille blackish with layer of dirt & also laminate floor in same situation?
Incredible!
Do you recommend seasoning the grill after such cleaning? If so, how?
Fantastic job! Sometimes you amaze me with how you manage to get things so clean though sometimes there is a lot of elbow grease needed.

Have you ever tried a steamer?
Nice job🎉 do you have an affiliate link? Your gloves, supplies, tools😂 I need in my life!
Wow! That is sooooooooo impressive. Can you do my bbq too? Lol

Noice!!!! 🥰
Yo I have this grill’s twin sitting in my backyard awaiting its fate! I guess I have to try to save it now.
There are no more T-shirt’s for sale on your website? 😢
I haven’t launched merch yet but I’m hoping someday here soon!
