Who was your driver of the day? If Max had won, it would have been him, but I had to give it to Checo too!
Lando was brilliant, but its Checo for me as well. I was so focused at the Max vs Sir Lewis Battle that I did not notice he finished 5th. Sensational drive by by Perez

Yeah, I have watched the replays a lot now. Such an interesting race. I think I would have held the positions and hoped for a favorable call. Bottas was so far back that a 10 second penalty wouldn't have mattered haha
@@GregAllenF1 If verstappen wouldn´t have given back the position he would've won the race!! Wrong move by Horner-s crew.
Race control actually Ordered the team to give back the position. They had no choice.
Max was very sporting about the issue. No dramatics like vettel has done in the past.

Sucks seeing Renault (or Alpine rather) struggle. Am a big Renault fan and had hopes last year they would at least keep their position in the pack this season. Seems like they are a low midfield team now, on par with Alfa Romeo, who will not get points regularly. Going to hurt watch races were they struggle to get 10th. :/
Aston Martin I think will improve. Lance is going to be in the points most races. Vettel I had counted out before the season began, thought Lance would beat him. Vettel just seems shot. Probably will be mostly battling among the Alpines and Alfa Romeos.
Haas... Obviously if you have a car that is absolutely horrible and very hard to drive and you place two rookies in it you will have spinning and crashes. Lets just hope it doesn't end up being a joke were they spin or crash like every other race and bring out safety cars or flags. I guess it would make races more unpredictable and bring excitement in a way but it's would still be horrible. No team should be some kind of joke on the grid.
I think Alpine will improve throughout the year. Ocon got better every race last year and Alonso already looks like he is getting more from the car and this was just his first race back!
As for Aston Martin, I am worried about them. Seb does look defeated and the teams pace is way off. Even worse, they are making excuses and blaming the rule changes. Stroll had a solid run, but Aston Martin look like they are going to fall way off from where they were last year.
Haas....well.....what else needs to be said at this point.

Dont know how I feel about max giving up the spot to lewis. Lewis went wide several times that turn and gets no penalty but max does it once and loses the lead because of it. Heck of a race though.
@broccoli but lewis probably made up several tenths doing the same thing which is a long lasting benefit.
I think they thought he had the pace to get him again and not worry about a penalty. In the end it was probably better to ask for forgiveness than permission though,
Lewis got 2 warnings and would get the black and white flag so he didn’t get Scott free and max went wide cause Lewis did so max should also be penalized if Lewis gets penalized so 2 wrongs don’t make a right and when Lewis went off he didn’t get advantages so relax bro

@@nickpalumbo8046 a few tenths lmao he’s only gaining time by getting on the power earlier other than that it’s a massive risk going wide at turn 4 and mostly everyone was doing 😂😂
