    I love my Umarex Glock 17 gen4 full blowback BB replica, not airsoft. Brilliant replica

      I wanted this one purely for the steel elements to it, kind if adds a sense of realism if that makes sense. 🤣

      🙏 thankyou. and yes the sounds this gbb pistol makes are so good compared to most, and the felt recoil due to the weight is amazing.

    I got the co2 kit and mag the mag is my 2nd mag and it won't fire sometimes when pulling the trigger I have no issues with the green gas mag , I'm starting to think the co2 mags are crap.

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  ปีที่แล้ว

      it's possible that with co2 the pressure is just too much for the striker to press the valve on the magazine. warmer climates can sometime struggle as the pressures are slightly higher in the warmer weather

      Not really. Yes they're good pistols, light, compact & a good conceal carry gun, but in real steel terms you can't beat an H&K USP 9. If you can afford one of course.

    Does the GHK barrel have threads? I hope it doesn’t cause it’s by far the most realistic replica on the market and it would put icing on the cake if it didn’t have stupid threads

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  ปีที่แล้ว

      nope, no threaded barrel mate. the shooting experience is so much more realistic than the others too.

    i dont understand why there arent any more expensive airsoft guns that have 1:1 quality. i want to buy quality not trash. i would gladly pay 600+ for a good quality replica pistol or 2k for a rifle

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      there are quite a few, I collect only replica pieces, all of them are compatible with some real steel furniture parts too, have a look on my main channel bud, there's a lot of high end expensive rifles to choose from. 😎🤜🤛

      @@wildsurvivaluk i mean i bought this pistol and a ghk m4 but when i bought a real colt front sling mount kit the steel felt way better than anything the rifle has. same for my optic mounting plate for the glock. i personally like realism and all, im sure others like it too. the ghk m4 rifle was also pretty up there with the price but certain things just dont feel that great. if you know any m4a1 gbbr rifles that are better i'd love to know :)

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Roshan_420 have a look at the Archwick L119a2 they are a lovely thing.
      also there are lots of companies that offer "upgrade" parts such as HAO industries etc.
      GHK do a forged receiver m4a1 I believe made from T6 aluminium (same as some real steel rifles)
      I use mostly the TM MWS platform of rifles because there are so many aftermarket steel/upgrades available for them so they are always worth looking into 🤜🤛

    Does this airsoft slide fit the Airgun slide if you change our all the internals

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont know mate but I wouldn't have thought so no, the airsoft frame for the ghk is made with the same process as real steel with the frame rails being inserted at moulding stage so no retaining screws etc amd the top slide itself is a 1 piece cnc steel unit

  • @srenasp-nielsen7919
    @srenasp-nielsen7919 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Sorry but how do you actually take the slide off the steel slide version?
    When I try and take it off the things I pull down on kind of retracts, like when I pull one of them in the other one retracts and becomes super stiff!

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  ปีที่แล้ว

      they are super tough as the frame is slightly too wide for the slide release used, I find it easier if I use my finger nails and pull down on both sides at the same time all the way to the bottom and press the back of the slide against my chest to push it forward. if that makes sense 🤣 they are super tricky though.

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have just installed a custom frame on mine that has deeper recessed dimples for the slide release to make it easier to grip. has made a world of difference.

      @@wildsurvivalukDoes it field strip like a real Glock or like a VFC/WE style Glock? I ordered one for training and your video really helped me make a decision

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@spacechimp3199 it strips down in the same manner as a real steel glock17 mate. holding this one next to a real steel they even look very similar internally but with the addition of the inner barrel/hop unit.
      a very nice choice you have made in getting one bud. you won't be disappointed. I use mine primarily for training etc.

    How do you take the orange tip off ? I would receive one because I’m in the states

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm actually not 100% sure on if they are a painted tip or they have an orange insert into the barrel, if it's the orange insert then these have a steel outer barrel so removal would be pretty simple with some heat to melt the glue then pull out and clean the excess... if painted then either nail varnish remover or thinners/petrol would likely do the trick. 😎 hope this helps brother. 🤟

    • @wildsurvivaluk
      @wildsurvivaluk  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@TheEvdavis7 by the looks of it the GHK comes with the orange plastic insert in the US so I would apply a little heat with a hair dryer to soften the glue then using some pliers try to twist the orange tip in both directions to loosen it then unscrew all the way out. 🤟🤟
