Thank you for this video. My husband and I bought this for our first high tunnel greenhouse. Yesterday we went to install it and realized we have to make some modifications as well. Your video helps get the creative juices flowing. Ya know, it's kind of comical for us trying to build stuff, because nothing ever seems to come together seamlessly. He's the genius engineer and I'm, well, his sidekick. Haha. My project was to build a composting toilet with an outhouse. So the adventure began.. I built the composting toilet first and then built the frame for the outhouse. When my husband came to help me with lifting and securing into place, the look on his face was priceless... He said, "Wow honey, you are doing a great job! It's just that... Do you realize how tall this thing is?!" And there you have it. My first building project of which, without him, I would probably still be trying to complete next year. I have named it Lopsy Loo. Anyway, point being that it doesn't really matter if things look "pretty" all the time. It's the fact that you did it yourself and learned something from the experience, and it works.
Great share and I love your flagstone floors! This is the first year we've had our Greenhouse. Covered it in plastic for winter and then had to figure out how to heat it. We put in 4 55-gallon barrels filled with water to help heat and used a Coleman stove. When it warms up we will take the plastic off and recover with shade cloth.
Thanks Blissful Acres! I've heard of heating water jugs up and painting them black to help absorb the heat and carry the warmth into the night. I might have to give that a try.
Hey Blissful Acres, I just looked up your channel! Very nice! You look like my kind of people. I added you guys as one of my featured channels. Now i have to find about 4 days to check out all you videos. Nice work!
@@skywaterhaven we didn't have time to paint our barrels black so they're still blue least they're not clear so the water should still be drinkable later we will paint them all black. Got to say it did help but it also took up a lot of room.
