Definitely snake country! Wear good hiking boots and bring a stick, a snake will strike it first when moving. Grew up in Montana, rattlesnake were found in rocks, near water and high grass. Be aware all times, I seem to come across snakes a lot. Lol
Hi Jeff I have to be truthful why cause I plan to live there someday but seeing no trees green grass the smog is bad covering the mountains your sky is also loaded with contrails and yep you could make a movie and say you are filming on Mars!!LOL! Good show loved it!
Lived out there for a year 2015- 2016 over on east mule train trail. Favorite thing I did out there was going to saguaro lake which had gorgeous views and hiking siphon draw trail to the top of flat iron. Also tubing down the river around superstitious mountain with mustangs grazing on the waters edge was amazing. Really fell in love with the lay of the land there and plan on returning for good this spring.

We just moved to San Tan Valley three weeks ago and live about a mile from this water tank & phony cacti. We see them every time we go to the shopping center there on the corner of Hunt Hwy & Gary. Greetings Jeff, I began following you in Hawaii and happy to welcome you to STV. I bought a foreclosure in Johnson Ranch during the housing crunch in 2008. I paid $100K for a small 3BR with inground pool situated on a corner lot. I probably overpaid but the house has roughly doubled in value so I can't complain. My primary residence is back in Iowa but I recently lost my job so I'm transitioning down here full time. I'm not ready to retire so I'm dreading the daily rush hour commutes. I completely agree this community deserves better access and more commerce. With that in mind, I'm available to replace the imbecile who squashed the Home Depot across from Walmart!!!
@@LivinginArizona Meh, I believe it was a corporate decision inspired by the poor economy of the early/mid 2000's. I just came across an interesting update on santanvalley.com. "...Last year Home Depot placed 12.7 acres of their lot on the market for sale and many of us assumed they would not be building in San Tan Valley. Well it looks like Home Depot's plans may be changing. Home Depot and the County have been in discussions regarding building again. They are building three new locations in Arizona, as well as remodeling two existing locations. Will they finally decide to open one of those locations in San Tan Valley? Stay tuned for more information!"

There needs to be research conducted about business development - Mmmmm - I do not know that intel for that region - Mmmmm - it always sounds nice / i am always in favour of visualizing future needs of things that promote the better way of living for the populous : ) ......... The terrain in st. David looks more to my liking, but I love the town amenities and look of Gilbert downtown! Too conservative is no fun either!

I enjoyed the topic but not the filming. The camera was moved far to quickly not allowing the viewer to see things well and causing dizziness.
