Swimming with sea lions! Awesome. Do you have aircon and if so, are you using it? Also how are you guys finding showers etc? Are you always staying at sites? Great video as always.
Thanks Matthew! Yes we do have aircon, we only use it when we stay at powered sites. However we try to stick to unpowered sites except for when it was extremely hot up north. We do about 80% campgrounds then a mix of free camps/ station stays/ national parks. We have a shower tent we use when we are off grid for an extended period, but if its just a night of two then ocean swims and wet wipes do the trick haha.
You are great to follow on your adventures. How is the Cannon going, is the air-con handling the long drives. Have you had any trouble so far. I am looking at doing the same as you. Thanks John Hennessy.
Hi John, thank you, glad you are enjoying the vids! The cannon is going great, air con works fine even on 45 degree days has been able to keep up good enough. Cheers
Hi guys, loving your content! We have recently just received our caravan for the big trip.! Just wondering if yous have had any experience with shuttering or vibration while taking off in the cannon whilst towing the van? We were supposed to leave for our trip tomorrow but a little concerned. Look forward to hearing from you, Keep up the great work!
Hi Daniel, yes that's normal, all cannons do that with a heavy load at the rear. It's due to the weight pushing the back of the vehichle down which affects the tail shaft angle, which then cause the tail shift to vibrate. I just take of slowly and it's fine. One way to stop this if it bothers you is to lift the rear with a suspension upgrade.
Very good jee video
Thanks!
