That's not true everyone. Nearly every true blue Aussie has travelled around Australia. It's basically a tradition to buy a camper van and take 6 months off work/school

The enthusiasm and love you both show for Australia is awesome. The real Australia you got to see escapes most people whether local or from overseas. You MUST get a 4wd when you get back and see the places off the beaten track, like my favourite place the Kimberley . Once you go there you will never want to leave .Australia has so much space and so many places to go that it took me 30 years to experience most of it and I have still only barely scratched the surface.
I have fallen in love with you both after watching your travels around Australia. As an Aussie aged 59 living in Brissie, I thought I had seen most of this country I live in, but I have hardly scratched the surface. But watching you 2 beautiful souls falling in love with Australia made me tear up as your journey ended but I will continue watching where you're next adventure takes you. This one has been the perfect recap for me to realise that it's your spirit of adventure and sense of wonder, your open-mindedness and ability to always find the positives, and of course the amazing quality of your videography and editing. As a life long Sydneysider this series of yours has me quite emotional about my country of birth and how little i've seen of it. It's never been something i've cared to do (we Australian's tend to go overseas and don't really do the See Australia trip until we are old and retired) but you have changed my mind. Thank you for doing justice to this great country that so many of us Australians take for granted.
So glad to see you again, although a little sad that your journey is over in my "wide brown land". You really have taken this Aussie to many places I will probably never see. Tia, I admire your courage in the face of the anxiety issues you face; mine have sadly kept me travelling very far from home for many years. Chevayo, your support and enthusiasm throughout the trip has been lovely .... even at the Big Potato. I do hope you get to come back and see Tassie and many other unexplored areas. Late comment but I can totally relate to how you fell in love with the country. I did too as a Vancouverite and did everything I could to move permanently, which is really hard if you don't have a certain in-demand career.
Turns out my wife's dad is a Kiwi though, which makes my wife a Kiwi by descent, and Kiwis can live in Australia permanently. Five years later, she's getting her Aus citizenship on Friday, and I'm not far behind. Where there's a will there's a way. This is our forever home and we couldn't be more grateful.

I shed a tear when you posted the second verse of Dorothy McKellars famous poem My Country. Hi Tia & Cheyevo, what a great way to end your Australian adventure with a 1 hour video highlighting the whole trip starting in Perth, WA. It's like everywhere you went to took all of us on the journey with you and it was great to see places that I have never visited before. Fantastic scenery like Uluru etc. I love Tia humour and your reactions to not another big thing like the big potato, which was absolutely gold. We also got to know you and Tia better and you both are a wonderful and the love you have for each other shows as a couple. And Blueberry was marvellous taking you on the journey and having no mechanical issues was great and I can the attachment, especially Tia had for the car and the sadness Tia had after Blueberry was sold. I hope that you both come back to Australia and explore the rest of our country like Tasmania, Western Australia and other parts of Australia. Just finished watching and have to say, this video, along with the rest of the videos on your channel, are the best thing I’ve watched all year! Each and every episode has brought inspiration, nostalgia, pride, a laugh and a smile to brighten my day.
Tia’s reaction to ‘The Big Potato’ at Robertson mirrored my own when I first saw it and I laughed again along with her. Robertson, a picturesque NSW Southern Highland town is also famous for its bakery and pies and for being the location for the movie ‘Babe’. The recent ‘The Appleton Ladies Potato Race ‘ movie was also filmed around Robertson, based on true events in the town and worth a watch.
I don’t think I’ve shed a tear for any of the many cars I’ve sold over my driving years (not even my first - a VW beetle) but I did for Blueberry - The Mighty Mazda’ and ‘The (blue) Engine that Could’ (would make a great children’s book!) and I don’t think I’ll ever eat another blueberry without thinking of the car and you guys!
Australian tourism and Mazda owe you big time!
You’ve earned impressive travel bragging rights for driving across the Nullarbor both ways (as an Australian I’ve only managed east to west) and you’ve also earned honorary Australian citizenship and our hearts.

My wife and I did it in 2019 from Sydney and back again in 3 months and that was the best thing we have ever done in our life and since that time I tell everyone that if you wanna see the beauty of Australia go by airplane to all cities but if you wanna feel it go by car ……. By the way we did the same at the end of our trip with a lots of tears and we did it again after watching yours too ….. God bless you both

You've already travelled to many parts of the world, and yet it was in Australia that you extended your stay from three weeks to several months, you bought a car, you bought a drone, Tia learned to drive a manual, you both faced and conquered fears, and found places you could feel truly at peace. If there was a contest for the sweetest people to ever visit Australia the two of you would probably win. Don't be surprised if you start finding yourself feeling "homesick" for Australia as you continue your journey. Come back anytime. I stood next to that Nullabor s 1:10 ign on one of the 4 crossings on my motorcycle from Melbourne.. You guys have produced an extraordinary travelogue. All power to you. Informative, entertaining and good fun. You have shown places many Aussies never visit. You are brave and resilient. Many people wouldn't dare venture into the backlots of this country. You have chosen amazing and intriquing places to visit. There is a lot of nothing in Australia peppered by the extraordinary. You have tapped into the spirituality of my country and I salute you for your patience in dealing with the abnormalities and frustrations travellers invariably face. Great comment... However, our advice, so that they were prepared and protected was necessary.
Australia is vast and isolated in the middle.. and can be very dangerous if you don't understand the harsh environment.
Nobody would have said "don't do it" but a lot of tourists who ignore warning signs by not being prepared, have found themselves in dangerous territory .. that includes not approaching our wildlife in their habitat. We respect their space.
if you're going to cross the nullabour, you need to ensure your car is fully serviced and you have enough supplies. Including food and water. If you're stranded you're pretty much alone. And they needed to know this. Usually you can take the off-road 4wds on the dirt roads, but may not be suitable for the smaller sedans. Even if your gut feeling tells you to risk it.
But T & C did it beautifully and respectfully. Much respect to them.
I feel that so many Aussies will miss seeing you guys. You are two such beautiful souls and I’m so happy you loved our beautiful country! Stay safe in all your travels around the world! 🫶❤️🇦🇺

I actually loved that you were diverted down to Uluru, as all the way I was thinking you can’t do the big lap without seeing the heart of this beautiful country... and now you have unfinished business to bring you back to complete the lap! Well done you guys, yes you didn’t complete your lap…. But you clearly made up for it going through the Red Centre….and you adapted, something Australian are known for….loved our food, and even pronounce our cities and towns correctly…..I’m sure you swing back through and complete what you missed + Tasmania….good luck with your next adventure…. I think Australia has been good for both of you and for us showing things others might not have seen…..you’ve been the blueprint for other tourists to follow…❤️🇦🇺👍.
Next time you are back in Australia maybe you can do an island tour of Tasmania and check out the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. Probably as an extra stop if you do a tour of New Zealand or the Pacific Islands
Well it's a day later and I couldn't stop thinking about your video, so I've just watched it again. A truly amazing piece of work. No holds barred, all the ups and downs. Of course with your positivity the downs don't last long at all, they quickly turn into ups. The Discovery channel or someone should pay you for the broadcast rights. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with all of us. And thank you Tia for explaining some of what anxiety can mean to you. That is a very brave thing to do publicly. Stay safe.
This was an excellent video, we did the lap twice and so miss those times. We are not surprised you fell in love with it, it’s a very special place. We will be back there in December and can’t wait. The lighthouse at 6:20 is where they filmed a popular 90s kid's drama called 'Round the Twist'. It is very quirky, but gives you a good insight into what it was like growing up as an Australian 90s kid.
This was incredible - you will look back at this documentary for the rest of your lives. Something I wish I had done with my previous adventures is have documented it more than I did - too busy soaking in every last drop. You were meant to go to Uluru and I am so glad you did. To this day, one of the most surreal places I have ever been to, the energy, the people, the significance of this place were unlike anything I had ever experienced. I hope you can make Australia your home someday soon - you both looked at peace throughout your many months of exploring and that says a lot about a place. If you get the chance, you MUST visit Aotearoa (New Zealand) before returning back here!
