Wow! An air soft gun you guys reviewed that doesn't cost 11 Trillion dollars!
I have shot a real tokarev before, and I completely agree with you about the grip. The pistol is great but since the "grip" is so slippery you will have it almost flying out of your hands.
I agree. I had bad experience with WE M1911A1 and don't trust most of their products anymore.
But this TT-33 is actually worth it, I like mine.

It doesn't suck. Just has a minor hickup that you should be aware of. Otherwise, at this price, it's a pretty good deal. Of course, you're not going to get SYSTEMA quality at 100 bucks! But it's good enough and worth collecting.
This or the metal P08? They both seem awesome... Also I bet you could use some pvc or something to make the lip a bit narrower.
I bought the WE Luger and it broke in 3 days because it went full automatic and shot uncontrollably, the barrel also flies out the gun after shooting a magazine and now the luger's hammer is stuck and won't unjam.
Hey does this gun take KWA tt33 mags? or even src's tt33 mags? :X
You should do the m9 elite 331 co2 pistol or the echo1 asr sniper they are both very good guns I own both of them

ive had one, and fired another 2, both shot grand? they were all from the same shop, airsoftworld, based in scotland. No doubt the rest of their gbb's suck, but i was plesently surprised by the TT33. But, being airosft, some batches suck, some do not, perhaps?

Almost certain they're not, since KWA use their own gas system and WE use one based on the TM system.

I have this and I love it! :D The safety is a bit problematic though. After a lot of use it becomes loose and it drops and locks the gun, even while you're shooting... So I went all old school and removed the safety :P

the safety is bit broken, i have the gun too and when i try shitong while is safety on, it sometimes turn off and i can noromally shot. its useles and looks weird

@@MattyTobias aha :D, já mám zase jinou vadu. taková ta pojistka co drží závěr vzádu, tak po vystřílení zásobníku mi začala kravit. buď se dole zasekne a nebo špatně drží ten závěr, i tak, že projede zpátky i přez to. ale jak to opravit tak na to jsem nepřišel. je to docela škoda protože tu zbraň mám novou :/

Just admit it, you'd never buy this gun for a regular skirmish. But that's fine, Airsoft GI or Evike would tell you that the bad feeding is a feature. To imitate the real deal, you know. I like this review, and if I was a reenactor, I'd get it. But don't tell us that this gun is any good, I have a WE G26C that feeds well, holds pretty nice, get's all the bbs out and does full auto. And it was a little over 100 bucks.
You guys at redwolf do a splendid job showing us less known guns. Keep it up!

You can buy a real one for around 150 bucks, usually less than that at gun shows. Ive shot a real one, and the best way to describe them is 'primitive'... Very basic, crude, quickly made (loose fitting parts) and the grips were slick.... So I guess they reproduced it in airsoft from quite faithfully!!!
Sadly the price has gone up to around $200-$250 .
Like most imported Russian guns, they are only going to go up in price! ;(
Airsoft LV Are you talking about a real one? You can get an m57 for around that price (the modern clone of the TT, only difference is it has a safety to comply with US import laws)
I know cheaperthandirt.com has them stocked, but like the other guy said they seem to have gone up in price! (because people have found out what a good deal they are! Similar to the mosin nagants and sks's)
Other places like jgsales and classicfirearms also sells them for good prices, but you have to check because their stock varies.
And then there is always gun shows... You can almost always find a good deal at those, but of course its all up to the luck of the draw at those!

you could say it s pimitivly build but that s what americans think about russian guns did you know that TT33 can penetrate most of bullet prove vests and i can say that 1911 is primitive too

The actual Norinco copy of the TT33 actual made some good changes in their copy like a manual safety
however that safety was actually so shit it was just near useless

because the Tokarev has been out of service for more than half a century, and we already have 3 other brands that offers an airsoft replica of it.

I don't have it but I know that the new we guns are amazing. it can get out 1 and a half mags at least, it has authentic trade marks and the slide locks back every time. They sell ra tech steel slides for it. only part that you will need to replace sooner or later is the slide lock i think but other eise itll last you 8000 shots
yeah, but you shouldnt be worried about buying we anymore. They have seriously improved their game. A lot of their new versions are better than kwa guns and other companys

They're not super amazing. 4 months in the gym and yours will look like that about.
We pistols are known to have very poor gas efficiency, mostly due to the all metal parts

There no best copy of TT-33. Each of them have got bad sides. I more like KWA, but it's need some tuning.
Why buy this when the SRC version is the same price, has a carrying case, and doesn't double feed

dude, every product they make is usually full metal, some of the gas internals are a bit fragile but you dont have to call WE itself awful.

Tokarev beeing crude and simple? Dont see a problem there. Just dont forget it borrowed from Brownings 1903 and 1911 designs. Tula also reworked the 1911 trigger and made it simpler, easier to manufacture and repair, as well as making the whole trigger assembly as one piece, for very easy repair. Real TT-33 did have a safety, it used a half-cock to block the slide and trigger. Soviet/russian engineers made and make their equipment simple, but they are not dumb.

+Stinger007a мне ТТ и самому очень нравится, и если нам было разрешено приобретение и владение боевым короткоствольным оружием, то я и сам с удовольствием приобрел бы ТТ, но только для хранения в доме, и стрелял бы из него редко. Для ежедневного ношения я бы приобрел, например, тот же Кольт 1911 или Глок (19 или 17). Но увы, на постсоветском пространстве для законопослушного гражданина это останется несбыточной мечтой. У вас хоть травматы можно иметь, а у нас недавно даже травматы запретили, из-за отдельных идиотов, стреляющих друг в друга в дорожных пробках

То, что у него много недоработок, я знаю. Некоторые из них, можно устранить и в домашних условиях. Зато мощный патрон, даёт приятное ощущение от выстрела. Удовольствие на много больше, чем от того же ПМа.
Травмат, это игрушка на пару недель. Потом он закидывается в сейф и забывается. Конечно очень жаль, что у нас запрещено иметь (легально) нарезной короткоствол. Но .... видимо наши государи боятся последствий. Народ же перестреляет на хрен!

В добавок в криминалистической практике известен случай, когда в советское время двое друзей развлекались плаванием в лодках, причем каждый из них сидел в отдельной лодке. Один из них вынул свой пистолет ТТ-33 калибра 7,62 и в шутку несколько раз выстрелил по воде перед лодкой, в которой плавал его друг. Внезапно его друг упал и не подавал признаков жизни. Как потом показал следственный эксперимент, один из работников милиции произвел несколько выстрелов из этого пистолета по воде перед лодкой, в которой был установлен фанерный манекен. Большая часть пуль отскочила от воды и попала в манекен.

Generally they don't, manual safeties are usually added on surplus guns to follow import laws. Newer variants like the Tokagypt and Norinco models may come out the factory with manual safeties.
