Five decades ago when I was 3 or 4, I slept in the living room (our flat was small and I had no bedroom) and watched the midnight reruns of the Star Trek series. I've been a Trekkie ever since and though I like TNG and DS9, I feel "at home" the most with the Original Star Trek.
The Enterprise NCC-1701 Constitution Class is THE STARSHIP to me; the first one that instantly comes to mind whenever I hear the word "starship."
Great detail and music here, thanks for posting this!!

Because I had to see the first 3 before seeing Star Trek IV. I started to lose interest in the Motion Picture until they showed the Refit-Enterprise, and I fell in love with it. All the parts you have placed on the ship has only flat surface or just nothing underneath. I miss the nacelles on Kirk's ship. Those orange glowing beacons seemed to radiate power to me; you could see something rotating beneath the "glass" that seemed awesome to me. Now, it's just kind of a vent. Flat in both senses of the word.

Thank You for this video. I always hungered to see this ship being built, by robots or humans. Now I have finally seen a video that is exactly as I had imagined. My only wish now is that it was MUCH longer and documented the entire build of the ship (and hopefully OTHER ships, as well), from the first piece until the last!
