Here's another classic Japanese Business Trip! Anyone else ever been to Kobe before? 🖐 (To answer those wondering - this was filmed in late October/early Nov in 2023!)
I was thinking the same like it’s so refreshing to see actual “everyday life” kind of vlog from Japan. It portraits Japan more authentic and relatable way.
@@seerasan You're welcome! Thank you for sharing your experiences in Japan. My family and I lived in Okinawa for 3 years from 2017-2020 (military) and we're hoping/planning to move back either to Oki or to mainland Japan (Iwakuni) late next year! Because of you I am attempting to learn Japanese!
Super glad you enjoyed your time in Kobe, my home town. I grew up there 'till I was 12, then my family moved to US. I haven't been back in a while, perhaps time for a visit. Thanks for bringing back some memories, really enjoyed watching it. Cheers,
it’s so refreshing to see actual “everyday life” kind of vlog from Japan. It portraits Japan more authentic and relatable way. I miss Japan and amazing to see my own country through your perspective✨☀️
Nice to see Kobe with European style of vibes (..and of course there are historical reasons for it..)! Ship restaurant with evening lights was really nice!
Just to let you know, I am Japanese. Currently, Japan is in the mid-summer heatwave, with temperatures averaging around 40 degrees every day. Because of this, people of all ages and genders are taken to the hospital by ambulance every day with heatstroke and sunburns that cause the skin to burn red and become very painful. It's fine if you want to enjoy the Japanese nature while doing marine sports on the coast or camping and barbecuing in the mountains of Nagano or Hokkaido (◯ there are a lot of bugs), but I don't recommend it in the summer because of the typhoon damage that strikes every year. If you want to travel to Japan, I recommend the coolest time of the year, from late March to early April and October. Please be especially careful if you are from a snowy country like Russia or Northern Europe and are not used to the heat.
Lol This just proves that one visit in Japan is just a starter. I started planning the second one already because of some of your videos as well ! :D Cheers from Poland ! Na Zdrowie ! :D
Another great video! I love a good trip to Kobe. Apparently from what I have read, the spider man thing happened because the store owner was opening his 1st Kobe Beef shop and needed to get the sign made. The owner of the signage shop had a two for one sale so he picked Spider-Man as the free one. It was such a hit that he got a Spider-Man for every new shop he opened. Not sure if that is correct but it sounds good. I also am partial to the good basic onigiri or tuna and mayo ❤
Seerasan, I really enjoy your videos ang glad I found it. I like how realistic it is. I’ve probably saved all your cafe videos all over Tokyo and Kyoto 😅. I’ll be in Japan for 3 weeks at the end of October to Nov. I hope I can get lucky and see you around ❤
Enjoying the video during a rainy and rather cold afternoon here in Hamburg. I have visited Kobe, but it was only a short daytrip... feels like I barely scratched the surface. I really love these daily- life videos, please continue creating them! ⛩
2:18 funny I’ve seen fireplaces exactly like that in old houses in the U.K. and they do have eastern designs on them. Must have been from a period of time when everyone was into “oriental” decor.
Oh that girl on Emma's jumper is from the anime Noragami, her name was Hiiro when she was Yato's weapon/shinki, but she goes by The Stray along with some other names too.
Thanks for sharing the BTS side of your trip to Kobe. I enjoyed the TC video of this from a few months ago 🙂 It's gotten so hot since you filmed this, eh? 🥵 I'll be visiting the Kansai area later this summer, so want to find that Nishimura shop while I'm there. My wife said it looks like the Kitano area. She's from that region. I've been to the one near Sannomiya a couple times with her.
The video footage shows that these people love Japan. These videos are very heartwarming and peaceful. Recently, there is a foreigner called Thomas Lockley who is doing a great NEVER DO THIS in Japan, so these peaceful and heart-warming videos of foreigners are very valuable. Because of the magnitude of what Thomas Lockley has done, three songs such as Wizard of fabriction, Isn't that Yasuke? and Isn't that Thomas? were written by Japanese, and many Japanese people know them so well that arrangements are increasing at an incredible rate. I was born and raised in Japan for more than 40 years, but I have never seen a foreigner like Thomas Lockley being chased by 91407 Japanese (or even more Japanese with X). I wish for more people from overseas who love Japan like the filmmaker of this video, not people like Thomas Lockley.
I went to that onsen town last year. Then i thought I could walk downhill to my accomodation in kobe the next day. I did not. bloody path was more vertical than horizontal. unfun to hike....but I ended up in Happiness Village for the night. Was a good place to finish my hike that night.
The driver is very beautiful and seems very nice. Very interesting video. First time I have heard that a train was late. A lot of clubs and bars do not allow foreigners unless you are with a Japanese person or you have to be a member.
Last time I visited Kobe, I discovered that most restaurants are closed between 2pm - 5pm. Also, many locals don’t speak languages other than Japanese, so make sure your cell service is good because you’re going to rely on Google Translate a lot.
That bakery at 17:00 is a German bakery and Köln means Cologne in German and I proudly can say it's my hometown. It's Germany's 4th biggest city with 1 million inhabitants.
That looks like a Starbucks somewhere in Florida because here in Colorado they do not look like their own Georgia plantation home, it looks like something from a corporation but Florida is a little different sometimes
Honestly, and this might seem like a minor thing, but huge respect to that couple from the US who just said they're from America. There are way too many out there who would immediately default to saying what state they're from as the first answer when someone asks haha.
I wish you would mention when a video was filmed, cause its sometimes a bit confusing that the weather in the video doesnt match the present time^^ Kobe is on my list now though!
Great stuff as always Sarah! Just wondering if you're still liking your DJI Osmo Pocket camera you showed off in a recent video? I've been on the fence about buying one (it's an expensive investment) since seeing your video showing it off. Just wondering how you feel about it now that you've had it a while? Thanks!
I get the Shio Musubi but the cheese ... you must be a hell of a masichist to eat that stuff they call cheese here in Japan ^^V Oh also my Japanese Language Teacher told me that Musubi is just a "slang" he told me in the Tokyo area it was always only called onigiri and in western Japan like Osaka they called Onigiri Musubi but for some reason they now use it however they want as there are konbini sellinig "musubi" even in Tokyo and "onigiri" in Osaka as well.
I’m moving to Kobe in September from Ireland! Trying to figure out what the weather will be like and brace myself lol, does anyone know when was this video taken??
If it's like last year it will be somewhat hot still in September. Right now, it's still humid and fairly hot, but varies a bit depending on where you will live in Kobe as well. Northern part in the mountains is maybe 3 degrees less than downtown. Personally, I couldn't live "downtown", way too hot. Winters are generally not that cold, but houses and apartments are generally not that insulated so it can get fairly cold inside.
Thanks for informative videos! how do a tourist get a voice and data sim/esim for just a few days? or do Japanese people use whatsapp? let say for car rentals
@@JereseanworshipI use Airalo to download e sims but I think it’s data only. They work really well and are great value. I saw some places using WhatsApp but I wouldn’t say it’s super common. I found the easiest option was to just ask the front desk of your hotel to call business for you.
Her job looks amazing I would pay to have that job let alone get paid for it. Obviously I know behind the scenes there is more hard work but I work my butt off physically for my company and they could care less about you and get treated and worked hard constantly for no more money. With zero benefits I might add.

Yes in 2010 🤔
Was just there with the family - Animal Kingdom was great for the humane treatment of the animals and especially the capybara section!
Planning the next trip there in Dec! Can’t wait.
yep. worked there for a year last year 🖐
i luv it🎉💖
I love how other content creators are trying to show off fancy food but you are content with plain onigiri and bread rolls!!!
#plaingal for life! Haha
@seerasan please do a video rating the conbini plain rice onigiri and cheese!

Aussie trait. Relaxed and laid back
Your channel has quickly become one of my favorites! Love when you post a new video 😊

haha, I love it, too, when she posts a new video. But not when this happens late at night and I am just about to go to bed. 😁
@@wasabigirl2004 Haha same 😆
I loved Kobe! I used your older Kobe video as a bit of a guide for my trip. One of my favorite places I visited!
It DID complete the look! and YAY EMMA!!!!!!!!!!! love your friendship

Onigiri is love, indeed 🍙 ❤
Loved it, Japan has been on my bucket list for years. One day... maybe next year. Keep them coming, im playing catch up on your videos.

I would eat onigiri with you any time at that spot seerasan, japanese food always looks so good even something as simple as onigiri
crazy that you make this video just when i was like "i should hit up kobe when i visit. I wonder if anything is there?" Thanks for the vid!

Wow even with no makeup at the start you look great, total bijin!
I had a brief stop in Kobe while on a cruise in April. After seeing this video I need to go back.
What a fab spot. Cruising atm. Shame we dont stop at that port.
Jealous you're cruising right now! 🚢 Safe travels!
That Kobe Beef burger place looks AMAZING. I'm fasting atm, so this is like torture.

Everytime Emma wears that sweater I wish I could find it.
Ah, finally found it when Emma turned around "Lost Scriptures" but they seem to no longer be around?
You dont need make up. You have a natural beauty.
Slice of life romance anime about rice balls set in Rokko mountain, 'Omusubu' when? 10/10 would watch.
I love Arima Onsen!

Mt. Rokko, where couples can eat onigiris Lady and the Tramp style (maybe) ♥
Is the gingerbread latte available in Japan already? I need to book a flight ✈
Only during Christmas time!

Been filming with it on and off, but this video was from last year on a Sony ZV1. The pocket Osmo is a great travel camera, defs recommend it!

Lol, your eyes after the sake. I love Kobe, my wife is from there and I used to live there.

Yup this is the BTS from that trip!
Lol I totally thought that was a middle finger on your beret!
How cold was it in Kobe?
Wait what, a train in Japan was late?
The problem with the Mt. Rokko view points is that public transit stops at sunset. If you want the million dollar night view, you need a car.
セーラちゃんかわいい🩷ですね😊これからも、たくさん日本を紹介してくださいねー👋
