  • "...really accept your humanity...I don't mean just accept it as an intellectual exercise, but I mean when you bring it into your heart, bring that fragile little human thing into your heart just the way it is. When you bring it into the embrace of your heart, the amazing thing is it doesn't then confine you...It finds great healing. And the human part of you also begins to unlock capacities that it didn't know it had. Even in all of its frailty, it has extraordinary capacities of love, of compassion, of wisdom, of embodiment that it would never even dreamed of...it takes humility because you are embracing it just the way it is...the deepest part of your nature though, that dimension that is untouched, that's exactly what it's doing-it's embraced humanity from the very beginning..." ~ Adyashanti
Notes: Choosing Kindness When You’re Angry
    • When you’re angry, sometimes you can connect with wisdom first, a deeper understanding of what you’re really doing to yourself. Out of that deep seeing kindness can come.
    • These old, trapped patterns are looking for release. How can something be released if we’re not willing to experience it, whether it’s anger, fear, or sadness? You can think, “Right now, for five minutes, I’m just going to be willing to experience this,” and let it move through your system without any stories about it.
    • The more you accept your humanity, when you bring that fragile human into your heart just the way it is, it doesn’t define you or confine you. Then the human part of you can begin to unlock capacities it didn’t know it had.
    • You’re embracing it the way it is, not the way it can become. You’re embracing it right here, right now.

How do you recognize an enlightened being? Humbleness and trust and love to say you don't need me, you need yourself ❤
I've been to retreats of famous international gurus that were trying to make me feel like I needed them for the rest of my life and that without them I couldn't go anywhere. I've seen them showing off and putting themselves above without anyone noticing it. I couldn't bear how it was possible that they were enlightened..
Thank you for being ❤ thank you for sharing ❤
