Love this. Definitely trying this. Would be cool to have more tutorials like this like a mini series of adding crochet collars ,trims to things ,sleeves etc.
Ms Naztasia. This literally brought tears to my eyes. I have psoriasis on my arms which I can never where short sleeves. I stay home in the summer, because I couldn’t cover my arms. Now I can have a breeze and not be hot! If you only knew what you have done for me, creating and sharing this. I will be forever grateful. I did hear you say, if you have larger arms, add more in the magic ring. Is there an easier way for me to determine how many extra to add that’ll fit my size arm please? Thank you Thank you Thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Glad this could help! This pattern should fit most tank openings. I would suggest trying it as is. If you find the sleeve is too small, measure your finished sleeve, then divide it by the number of shells you made to get how many inches each shell takes up. Then figure out how many more shells/inches you need to fit the opening. For example, if each shell measures an inch, and the opening on your tank is 4 more inches larger than the sleeve, start with 4 more sets of shells to make it fit.
Thank goodness for this tutorial. I have a few balls of the yarn in various colours and now have a new use for them. My mother would love some sleeves like these to give her tops a new look. Thank you Donna ....love your tutorials x 🏴
What a genius idea!!! Thank you so much! My son is getting married I. June and I have a beautiful dress that is sleeveless for the rehearsal dinner this will take it to a better level!
This is fantastic! I made a crochet sleeveless sweater for my mom for Christmas and I wasn't satisfied with the way the front looked (it was going inwards, like a tank top, a little too much) so I looked for a way to add sleeve caps. Found this video! These look really good! 💜
Very classy and classic sleeves. Thanks so much Donna for sharing the tutorial and clear details for the pattern. Will be going through my closet to see what I can add them to!!
So nice, thank you! Can you maybe present different collars, on different tops, as well how we can make a top in combination with a simple sowing and crocheting...
Thanks Donna 🌸 this tutorial is really very useful and beautiful. I am already applying these sleeves to two dresses 🤗 I love your tutorials always very clear and without unnecessary chatter. Thanks 💗🌿🌸🌿💗
Laurel I absolutely love this idea I have the granddaughter who slightly big her chested but skinny still be great can you tell me how you do it? Thank you for taking the time to read this 🥰🐞😘
Fantastic idea I love it, my very first shawl I ever made was using your tutorial and I love that too, thank you so much Donna for sharing your talents, take care and keep well.
Hi Naztazia, very nice tutorial! Could you please do another one? This time for sleeves to cover the entire upper arm. And perhaps another for elbow length sleeves as well. Thanks so much.
I love this! I was thinking how this could dress up and lengthen a skirt or dress. I had bought some cotton tank dresses that shrunk up and i won't wear them out...now this may solve that problem! Do you already have a tutorial for this?? Thank you so much!!
@@naztazia would be great Naztazia or a tutorial on putting it on the end of a long sleeve shirt to dress it up or even a jean jacket on the sleeves or on the bottom so many different ways you could do this. Hope you do more like this. Such a romantic elegant look. 🥰🐞😁
