Thanks for the trick. This is really useful. Please also make a video tutorial about how you make these perfect elastic hem. would love to see that too!
Love your videos! Easy to follow and well explained! tried to follow you on Ig but your Ig link does not work? Ps I’m trying to do a puffer pocket on top of regular fabric but I’m having trouble making the pocket look puffed. Any chance you can make a tutorial on this subject? Thanks!
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. I updated the instagram link, it should work now. :) About puffy pocket, that's a great idea, I will try to see what I can suggest for this type of detail.
I think why not. If the hem is fitted to body like I have in the first example, I think it can be a good and very quick solution. :) I like this method I show because it allows me to adjust the position and shape of hem any time, and it also works for curved hemlines. With avatar measure you loose a bit of that flexibility.
Depends on the outfit. I sometimes use transparent helper pieces in animations, but it requires testing, to find right properties for the fabric. If the fabric is too stiff or heavy, it starts to float and make hemlines look unnatural.
Your design is very nice
amazing technique
Thank you for another great explanation. Simple and to the point. Regards

This method wouldn’t work with animation would it?
