complete the quest to forge an alliance in lunden, there are 3 members of the order of the elders, killing them, you unlock the branch with the gorm being the first target, talk to randvi and travel to the map where gorm is hiding, there you will find all the treasures that have carbon ingots, some are more than 1 carbon ingot (but I advise you to reach a suitable level like 100-120, as you will go without any equipment that you have collected, and if you don't want to spend carbon ingots there and save it for when u come back from the trip, raise your skills / power, i hope i helped you
Hey! So this guy gave a lot of helpful tips but what he didn't do was tell a clear way to make the vendor restock so one can farm easier. I literally tried everything testing everything out and it turns out the only way to guarantee a refresh of the stock is to level up. So focus on that whenever you need a restock.

Dude, the only thing he mentioned in the first minute are the chests that have the ingots in them. Those are limited. I want to know how to farm tungsten. Those chests don't respawn the resources so if they are the only way to get it then you can only get like 8 or so tungsten ingots in the whole game. He clearly has a shit tun of mythical gear though so there has to be a way to farm it, but as I said in my original comment the shop doesn't stock tungsten ingot, only carbon and nickle. So there has to be another way to get more of them than just by hunting down those chests, which I have already done.
at the end of the map in wessex, essex, kent, in camps and raids in these regions are 160-340 level of power, you will not have so many problems being at level 120, just aim at the right points of enemies and focus on the style of play that you play that you can get tungsten
Best way to get silver is acctually 10 minutes in the east anglian port area with spears and just kill fish i managed to get 2k after 10 mins but mainly cause i did fishing quest part.
Can anyone help please I’ve spent 30 odd hours on this game and so far have only got to Fornburg. This is the second time I have done this to try get over the glitch I’m having. The quest marker will show up at first then disappear. I know where the seerer is I’ve even been to see her but without the quest marker showing I can’t get on with the game , I’ve watched 3 walk through's of this section and theyre not doing anything different to what i had done yet the Quest marker was there. Okay what I did was I maxed out my melee in the skill tree so I put the tunes in my armor that benefit my health. I also have weapons that has a way higher chance to do criticals with loads more critical damage so I try to put the critical runes in my weapons. It depends on what you’re build is and your items. So I basically did was that I picked a certain route for my skill tree and I supported it with the runes. And I have certain weapons that do certain buffs so I made runes help that. That’s the best way I could describe

Did they patch out the "find one and then it shows up on your merchant?" I had one already when I started looking at these guides and videos to try and figure out how to get more, I don't even know where I got the first one. So after reading that you just need to find one, I thought maybe I didn't "find" that one in the right way so I went out and specifically found a chest in a zone the guide said and I still do not have nickel ingots on my merchant, even went so far as to go to a merchant in East Anglia make sure that it wasn't merchant specific. So either they patched that out or people saying that had ticked some other pre-requisite because I definitely have found a nickel ingot and none of the merchants sell those. I also used one of the two I had to upgrade a piece of gear, just to see if using one first was a pre-requisite, still nothing.

You have to progress the story and lvl up settlement for them to start selling in shops it will start carbon then nickel as you progress
@Shane Preston I got nickel ingots after I my settlement was level 4. Still no sign on the tungsten ingot in my shop.

one way is to do contracts contract sometimes tell you to kill a target which has a chance a very hight change todrop ingots

If you are on PS4 I or Xbox I cant help but if on PC just click escape button and go to settings

You will be able to buy nickel when you will find your first ingot in a chest or on someone. But you cannot buy tungsten
