- When you are traveling toward western Utah, the semi-ghost town of Eureka is just packed with history and so many things to see about mining history of the past. Eureka is the perfect place to load up on last minute supplies before venturing out to the vast expanse of the west. (Historical photos in this program courtesy of Eureka City, and special thanks to Mayor Nick Castleton for all his support in making this video possible).
Another great episode. I really enjoyed this episode, as I go to Eureka every year. Actually I enjoy every one of your episodes. I feel like I can relate so much to the former mayor. I hear his words and I feel like that is what I feel and experience every time I go to Eureka. Thanks again for such a great program.
Glad you like them!
I've been and I loved it, such an awesome small town. But I wanted to ask, why do u go there every year?
Spent a lot of time there, and found your video extremely informative. Thank you 👍
Neat video, thanks! We had family who mined out there and my grandma was born while her parents lived in Silver City just around the hill going west from Eureka. They ended up moving the house to Payson after the mining slowed down.
I really enjoyed visiting and making a TH-cam video on Eureka a little over a year ago. I love your narrations sir! Too bad you didn’t interview Old Mr. Lyle in the Tintic Mining Museum. He’s a real hoot!
Eureka is such an amazing little town and I love your video on it here 😀 . Did you meet Crazy Mary? She's a beautiful character who calls the town home 🏡
My great grandpa lived there i always remember going there and visiting him.
!(: Cool, THANKS ;)!
Can you please take us to Bodie ca ?

Throw rocks at jack rabbits? I went to this town searching for a place to hunt rabbits and I never came across any at all. Any place south of Tooele I'd think would be a good place to hunt for rabbits, but I didn't have any luck at all unfortunately.
Where'd the natives go?
