just an fyi, kellogg's has had the chocolate covered rice crispy treats for a long time, but this is the first time that they have made them bite sized and put them in a bag. normally you get them as a single bar treat, not bite sized. And on that toxic waist candy,,Alex's lmao, Kate,,the look on your face??? PRICELESS!!!! hope you 2 have a great weekend.

I'm sure someone else mentioned this but the Frank Lloyd Wright house you showed - Fallingwater - is actually one he designed in Western Pennsylvania, not in Wisconsin, though he was born in Wisconsin! It's worth a visit next time you are in the US. Also - those chocolate covered potato chips look AMAZING.

PB&J sandwich is the only way to go, plus I put BBQ chips, (crisps) on it too. Don't knock it till you try it. I even put bacon on it sometimes too.

Love peanut butter and jelly on an English muffin toasted, we also have English muffin bread which is my fav....toast it and while it’s still hot, slap on that peanut butter and then jelly YUM! Also, instead of a grilled cheese use peanut butter and jelly it gets all nice and melty! My fav PB is Jiff natural it’s the best! Also, take the original candy corn and mix it with some cocktail peanuts it tastes like a salted nut roll! So good!
Kate if you haven't tried it yet you need to make rice crispy treats with coco Krispys or the fruity ones. They are to die for!

You can make them with really any cereal you choose. A girl I know likes to make them with frootloops!

I'm a big fan of this box today...love all the variety of popcorn...popcorn is my all time favorite snack no matter the flavor, even plain as well. Got to get my hands on a cow pie...looks amazing. Thank you for making up my mind on what to eat for lunch by the way...sat down to watch the video and immediately got right back up to make a pb&j sandwich...i like a pb&j the regular way or if I'm feeling like a crunch I would have it as a toast sandwich.

So there’s a strategy to pbj’s. We would have it all the time for school lunches but if you don’t make them right, the bread gets soggy. You put a thin layer of peanut butter on both of the pieces of bread and jelly in the middle. Then you have to have original lays potato chips, a glass of milk and 2 Oreos. If you really want to have an original American school lunch, put a couple potato chips in the pbj sandwich. The crunch and salty really adds something!
It's probably called Goobers because in the 19th century peanuts were called goobers.

Pabst still exists, but they loved down to San Antonio, Texas. Although, a couple years ago, they opened a brew pub in Milwaukee on the original Pabst site.

I grew up in a little town in western pa called New Bethlehem pa. Smuckers pb factory was smack down in the middle of town. It always smells amazing. Like fresh roasted peanuts. They also sell honey and pb.. Fudge and pb.. Strawberry jam and pb. We had a flood in 93 and the town was completely under water.. Smuckers stepped in and gave everyone in town all free peanut butter , jelly and bread. Sometimes that's all we could get to eat. So to me, they will always be the best ever 💓

I believe it is called Goobers because many people call Roasted Peanuts "Goobers", I'm not sure where that originated, but I'm guessing somewhere in the South. I love Peanut Butter in a cold sandwich, or on toast, love it on crackers and bagels. I've had banana and peanut butter, try adding some crispy bacon to that peanut butter and banana sandwich, so good. That was an amazing box, so nice of Michelle and Zane to ship all those goodies off to you, thanks for taking us along for the tastings.

One of my favorite sandwiches growing up was peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, and sliced bananas! I liked a good layer of peanut butter, a bigger layer of fluff, and as many banana slices as would fit on the bread! Sooo good 😋

Hi Kate and Alex. Most Southerners recognize the terms goober and goober pea as other names for the peanut. Folding your peanut butter sandwich is called a Peanut Butter foldy. I don't care for most jelly so I had Apple jelly while the rest of the family had grape or strawberry.

I have seen a couple various ways of peanut butter sandwiches. I had a grandfather on my father's side who did honey and peanut butter. My grandmother on my mother's side would do butter and peanut butter sandwiches. My mother has gotten me hooked on doing butter and peanut butter together. The savory snacks/chips in this box all look delicious.

Last Christmas I picked up a bag of Dot's original pretzels. I loved them but they were so hard to find last year. Now a year later they are carried in the major grocery stores in my town in Texas. A Margarita and a bag of Dot's is the best after work wind down snack! 😀

@@ThisWithThem hey thanks for your reply. I grew up with some english friends here in Virginia and I have fond memoies of Cadbury shortbreads and flakes and black currant fruit pastilles Mmmmmmmm. Love the black currant flavor. You don’t find that flavor in the states. I think roundrree was the maker of the pastilles? They also make wine gums? And Twiglets!!!!!! I love twiglets! Btw I have a small jar of marmite in the Cubbard! Watching the latest episode of the great British baking show now. Japanese week!
American who doesn’t do PB&J over here but I do like toast and jam, toast and marmite, toast and Vegemite, toast and a light spread vegan chive cream cheese with granulated garlic powder basically any toast mostly on the dry side. More savory even savory jams like roasted garlic or red pepper jelly.
