Thanks for the history lesson. I've been brewing my own tea for many years now! What's amazing is the fact that you can buy less expensive brands for under 2 or 3 dollars, with anywhere from 40 to 100 bags per box! What a savings in beverage costs if you become a daily 3 to 5 cup a day tea drinker like me! I haven't bothered buying juice or soda for AGES!
Honey CAN be a bit costly, though. So, that balances things out, huh? Guess I better learn to like it without!😉❤
Bigelow has the widest, most flavorful teas I've ever had. Problem is ...there's only 20bags per box @ $4 to$5 per box!
That got waaay too expensive for me, so sadly(or happily, as the case may be) I just buy the ordinary black, and/or green tea with 100bags per box @ $1.37 at the neighborhood Dollar Tree. Hey! Tea, is tea! It works for me! And to keep it even MORE simple, I only use a good old-fashioned COFFEE MUG! Several, actually! 😁
*yowsa!!! you sure do know your tea...thanx for sharing!!! i love making hibiscus iced tea during the warm months too!!! making your own beverages from tea is so much better for you than buying preservative/sugar/aspartame-laden juices. oh!!! i've discovered Musselman's Apple Sugar Low Glycemic Sweetener that is wonderful for us watching our blood sugar levels. it's a great substitute for honey IMO. a tiny bit goes a long way over berries, in smoothies, in tomato sauce, etc. appreciate you stopping by friend & Happy Spring!!!* 🌱🍵🌷
