- Hey what's up everybody!
There was lots of questions about Production Chains & Automatic Sale so I've decided to make new Series - Advanced Guide Gameplay :) Hope You will find it interesting. In this Episode I will get you through the Basic understanding of Production Chains and I will try to explain how this "automatic sale" works :) So I hope you will find some useful stuff for you :)
I would like to Thanks a lot! All My new SUBSCRIBERS!! GUYS&GIRLS You are all AWESOME !!! :) Happy Easter Everyone! :)
Thank you, that was very helpful. I wasn't aware of the productivity thing, finally I'll be able to set up the chains without constantly checking out the paper I've printed for myself :)
Just a small mistake at 2:09, it's 2 less loading cargo rather than 1 less loading cargo.
Without direct transport from lumberjack hut to sawmill, it's 3 steps transport (1)lumberjack to warehouse (2)warehouse to sawmill (3)sawmill to warehouse.
Omg trade history! I had no idea!
Thank you. There were a lot of new stuff for me. Very helpful! :-)
Had no idea about the Trade History, thanks!
very nice guides. i just have followed you ;) keep that great work going
Trade history!!! thanks for the tip!!
thank you very helpful video. Thumps Up
This really helped thanks!
Thanks. Big help
I wouldn't build farms all the way to the edge of the island as later on you will need to leave some space for railway to go all the way around your island IF you plan of giving electricity access to most of your island. But good video helpful for beginners.
outstanding serie ! thanks
Great Guide. I found it yesterday. I have one question. How do I change the paths? I can't find it on the internet. Thank you.
But what if I want to stockpile raw goods, maybe I want to sell grain, or supply my animal farms with grain? How do I stockpile each good?
Hey Black Light! IT is stockpiling all goods as default SO if you will not touch anything in your warehouse your goods amount will increase over time of course if you are producing more than using (by your citizens and production chains). In warehouse production tab there are two stripes for each good (green and blue) they are showing your production and consumption.. if production stripe is bigger this will mean that you will stockpile that good :) hope this will help you! :)
@@pablo1713 Hi, not really helped me. What I'm looking for is not just store a resource inside werehouse(default), but stockpile certain resource. I'll give you example, cotton and clothes production is 1:1. But what if I want to manufacture sails at this moment. Another example, I have a grain farm that supplies a mill 1:1, which then goes for bakery. But I want the grain to be stored(certain ammount) so it can be taken to animal pasture silos.
There is an old game called Caesar 3, it had an option in each induvidual werehause, to stockpile selected resource under/over selected ammount.
Is there something similar in Anno?
@@blacklight4720 unfortunately in Anno 1800 its different than in Ceasar. All goods are shared by all warehouses that are on Island. SO the only way to switch where your goods will go is by manually stoping production in building that is last in production chain. (f.e. In bricks, you will have to click on brick factory and pause its production which will lead to stockpiling Clay) Or you can Just build another f.e. Clay pit to start stockpiling that good. (as you will produce more Clay then is needed by one brick factory) What more goods are transported automaticly SO to the closes building if warehouse would be closer than brick factory then Clay will go first to warehouse and then to brick factory. :) so in theory you could build other building that need Clay Just closer to the pit than brick factory and that should stop production of bricks :) but you would have to check IT if it works as im not 100% sure if brick factory in that case would send its own cart to try to get some Clay :)
@@pablo1713 Pablo, thanks for the explanation. It looks to me like a really dumb decision to not include a mechanic that toggles movement of resources, defined by the player. The way I currently trying bypass it is by placing proccessing building much farther than werehouse, like you suggested. Still it feels so wrong 2020+ game.
Oh, I assume you're right-clicking on the goods icons to access the automatic trade options? I knew such things existed, but never figured out how as there are no UI hints or campaign tutorial actions related to it. I was just assuming it was something that unlocked later in the game.
No no :) You normally click it with left mouse botton. And every click on that purple circle will change its mode (Balance --> purchase --> Sell ) and You are right there are sooooo many things that are hidden in this game that is amazing why there are no hints about them :D :) I hope now you will be able to get some extra $$$ from selling those goods :)
I never knew about trade history tab! Wow thanks!. I already have 40 hours in the game and never noticed that button. I was wondering how much I was buying and selling lol.
Now I need to figure out how to find a specific building on a really built up city? Especially hard in the new world when a lot of the buildings look the same..... I know how to find the existing production buildings in the build menu, but how do I find for example an existing Trade Union?
Yeah it is difficult to manage all the stuff when your City gets Big. With this Trade Union building I think that if you will go to building tab at the bottom of the screen and select Trade Union building (for placing it) all those already builded Trade Union buildings should be highlighted but I must double check it :) Thanks 4 the comment ! :)
Hover with the mouse over the bulding in the menue you can select it for bulilding and you get a overlay on the map that shows related buildings
Do you know how many people for example 1 sheep farm and 1 clothing factory sustain? I'd like to know this for optimal building efficiency so I do'nt build 3 of each when I only need two. And do you know this for other buildings as well?
there is a link somewhere on reddit with a "everything you need to know about anno" excel sheet. it is quite a load of information, but it tells you all the information you are looking for like this.
@@Stoke3847 Thanks!!
Could you explain how to fix the slaughter house of your pig farm? How to bring that down?
Did they remove trade history from the game?
Hey Abdullah Alzuwayed! hmm that is very intersting question! :) I will check it today! There should be small "clock" icon like in 4:33 but who knows what happened after last patch :) Thanks a lot for your comments :) and have a great 2021 year! :) all best! :)

It´s a good video. You explained it well. However, this is not an "advanced guide" by any means. This is a basic tutorial guide...
It is on Advanced Difficulty :D :D and it has Guide and Gameplay :) that is why Advanced Guide Gameplay :) :D
We're gonna have to work on the definition of "advanced."
