4:22 The income displayed is actually per house, not citizen. In this game houses consume goods, not citizen. This means that an investor residence with population of 42 provides the same income for fulfilling coffee and consumes as much of it as a full investor residence at 50 population. So population only matters for your workforce pool, unlocks and influence goals, the consumption is not changed by it
Here is a hint, you can stack fisheries sideways in open water and overlap their resource zones, you can also build roads on water, and with this method you can place a lot more fisheries.
Still new to the game but as you mentioned I'm going to make use of the trade unions more on some more of my gameplays. I've found some very valuable people to add to the Trade Unions by picking up the floating debris from ships from either war or fighting off pirates.
Well i did know everything about this but i wanted to write a comment about your voice. Wow, its amazing! Loud and very calmly at the same time, keep up the good work :)
Do you have any videos for new players on how to stop losing money? My biggest problem is when I put all the different products on my island. I can never get enough clothing. But if I don’t put anything on my island and grab about eight or nine islands, and do one product for each island, I can grow my main island so I don’t know if this is the right way or the wrong way but I restarted about 15 times in a week and a half and this is the only way that I can make really good Moneywith the soap and not lose money on my island. Yes I play on PlayStation five which is a lot harder. I because there’s no videos for PS five and it’s a little bit different than the computer and sometimes I see things on the computer that I can’t find on the PS five version or consul version so it’s can be frustrating. For example, they always take all my product and I can never upgrade my houses. I try putting it to the point where you must leave at least 50 clothing, but they still disappear
My tips: Check your production tab in statistics screen and makes sure, that you have a small surplus of all consumer goods. And equal production and consumption when it comes to agricultural products, raw and entermediate goods. Use specialists and items, that fit into ships when going on an expedition. VERY useful for 3 star expeditions, the items give extra skills for events and increse your morale which is really useful to have. DONT use propaganda in the late game. It takes up your influence which becomes valuable in that stage, since you begin to buy specialists for trade unions, town halls, harbormaster's offices, etc.. Your fleets also grow larger and larger. Both military and civilian, leaving you with increasingly less influence. Using propaganda makes thing only worse. But another issue with propaganda is that it eats into your happiness level (up to -15) and increases riot chances (up to +100%). Yes, these are not terribly important but so is the extra income/money saved you get with the austerity and consumerism. I have a save where i reached the investors, got them all their needs, transferred the production to other islands (even in the new world) and I almost 100 thousand PER MINUTE without ANY propaganda. Where do I spend all of that? I already build all the production chains and they are dirt cheap, considering my huge income anyway. And in the late game you will end up in the same position eventually, so better prepare for it ir atleast know what to do, where it happens.
If you use the newspaper correctly it can make a huge difference in the late game. One example: Lets assume you have 50 investor homes with + 2 influence each (medium influence difficulty). If you take all three consumption reduction articles, you will get -68% (including the +15% for the newspaper efficiency) consumption for -225 influence points. That means, that with the same amount of production you can supply 156 investor homes instead of 50. If you now build the 106 extra investor homes, that will give you +212 influence back So for a small cost of 13 influence (and a lot of building materials for the houses of course) you can increase the number of investors (and therefore your biggest source of inccome) by a factor of 3. And you can also reduce the production for the rest of the population. That can give you an even higher boost if you have DLCs with other highly expansive population tiers, like tourists. If you are concerned about the negative impacts, you can replace the smallest of the articles by one that reduces the riot chance or increases the happieness, to counter that. That means that you will gain a little bit less, but with no negative impacts.
@@asinus5523 I don't think, that you can put austerity multiple times per article. I found it more efficient to invest in trade unions in the late game. Reinvesting that influence into austerity will barely change the amount of unions I can afford, because I mostly have all of my production buildings of the same type covered by 1 union.
I wish you had said more about the quest of gathering up animals. When I try to do it on Xbox it just has a circle with A button, pressing A simple selects the building that the animal is near. No option for another button appears so I've been unable to complete those quests.
you can mass upgrade roads tip 7, is incorrect - for PC you can mass upgrade roads, looks like your on xbox, so may take note of the difference not sure on consoles if thats a case or not. PC can mass upgrade roads for sure.

A small tip, but if you need to search for firestarters, set the ingame clock to night time and their torches will light them up
Brilliant!! 🌌🕯️😃 Why didn't l think of this? 😂

Both, just controls are different. Game is the same!
