John on your probe placement, high side to discharge, low side to true suction. You gave me advice a few years ago placement on probes on a package unit located the liquid line before he hit the metering device. I really appreciated it because you didn't give a smart ass comment about not knowing, having expensive tools but not knowing how to operate them correctly.

Have you ever worked on a luxaire acclimate 9m? My heating for the outdoor condenser isn’t working, ac works great, but also my furnace will only fire on emergency heat, which I’m not sure the difference but I have to imagine it’s less efficient

I couldn't get my 10' Intex pool above 76 degrees the year prior and last year I got it to 90 and had to put ice in it. This worked so well! I have just 1 mat hooked up to a 1,000 GPH Intex pump and it makes a significant reduction in the flow rate coming back into the pool, but that is to be expected with how far the water has to travel through the mat.

My heat pump board is currently showing this code. The OUTDOOR unit DOES NOT, start up at all, in heating or cooling. There is 24v on the R and C terminals. In the "emergency" mode, I am not getting enough heat. It only heats up to 72degrees only, and runs all night. And never shuts off. This is a RHEEM system. 6yrs old. I am really frustrated now, because i am having all these issues at the same time. I am thinking the thermostat is mal functioning, then I think its the defrost board. then i think the heat strips has issues. I am a wreck with these issues. The indoor unit runs fine, but NOTHING from the OUT DOOR UNIT. I just can't figure it out. Hope you or any other can assist me.

Already changed the run and start capacitor but still litttle amount of heat. N yes the fan still won't turn on after I changed the capacitors. Any idea?

I wish you was in Arlington Texas, because I have a heat pump I bought it Nov 2021 and a few days later my heat clicked off and the company I bought it from, his workers who installed it would not come back to see what was the problem, I had to run it on emergency heat, the owner of the company have cancer and kept asking me to bare with him that he promised to get it fix until this day 2024 he never did, so Oct. 2022 I had a company to come out they said it was a leak and charged me $712 and before the gentleman got out my subdivision my heat clicked off again, I hurried to call the company and they sent someone out the next day and that person said it was some type of value and the owner said it was a $2,700 job and said it would be best to get a new unit because I was sold a bad unit 😯I told them that's ok and my unit still don't work on regular heat I got to run it on emergency heat because I have not found a company I feel I can trust. I'm afraid of companies charging me again and not fixing the problem.
I am having the same problem because they want to stay in business. I feel they cheat and do not do the right job. So that you will constantly be calling on them. The issue is never fixed
I forgot to say the Air runs fine no problem with it, it's just when I turn on the heat on the regular setting it come on and run about 5 minutes and clicks off it do that every winter that's why I have to run the emergency heat.
Don't ass-ume that a future customer whom you have never met is going to be a pain in the buttaco. The woman just needs service. The attitude you bring to a job is 90% of how customers will react to you. It is very important to be positive and professional in any service to industry, or at least neutral. That future customer might somehow be your lifeline in the future...you never know. You got an annual customer for maintenance out of the Rheem warranty referral

I have two heat pumps the ac cools on both, but only the heat works on one.
