- Hi there!
Welcome back to the channel! I am so much happier with how this video turned out compared to my first one. But I really need to get an external mic or wind removing software!
In today's run I showcase the Salomon Pulsar Trail Pro 2, as well as make some points as to whether or not plates have a place in Trail Running shoes.
If you' re interested in the shoe or have anything to chat about, I would love to hear from you in the comments!
Always best to also ask to comment 'helps with the algorythm' anyway .. nice detailed review of the shoe.
@@JohnBirtchetSharpe Thanks! Yeah, I'm still getting used to all this;)
Support ist kein Mord! Keep going

Re wind noise what are you using for recording generally ? Probably best not to make your main points when actually running I have found which I see you aren't doing all the time. Sound is fine when not running, not so good when you are I would say.
I use a DJI Action 2 camera on a little tripod. It' s a nifty little camera but the wind is a real problem. I had to delete so much otherwise good footage because it would have blown up your speaker.
Thinking of experimenting with a little DeadCat style microphone cover.
I like to do most of the talking while running though as it keeps a bit more flow and action in the video...
@@robin29991 one technique I occasionally do is a later voiceover but that all adds to the time. I keep a dead cat on my Rode Wireless mics and way forwards I think if can justify the outlay. That said native sound on my now old GoPro 10 isn’t too bad unless really windy.
Sounds like there’s a lot of refinement needed to the next version of this shoe! Texton X should be on your radar…. See how that forked plate works 👌
Definitely one I have my eye on as well as the Adidas Terrex Speed Ultra...
The Slab Pulsar 1 is one of my favorite shoes ever. I use it for runs up to 30 k. Not sure what Salomon's idea is with commercial version of the S Labs. They create a great shoe like the Pulsar, Genesis and Thundercross, and then bring out a less good version of it for the masses, for a couple of EUR less...I don't think it is a good idea
@@solvidias779 Oh yes, the S/Lab Pulsar really is in a league of it's own. I have the version 2 SG. It' s lighter than even most of the carbon road shoes.
