Nice video. I've been wet shaving for about a year and half. I love everything about it. I'm thinking about getting a Twig or a Thorn. How does it compare to the Henson?

I have the Henson Al13 aggressive. There is a similar blade feel with the twig but the twig is nowhere hear as efficient. The Henson is much lighter in the hand. Both are easily maneuvered around the face but the angle is a little easier to maintain with the twig. As much as I like the twig, I kind of wish I would’ve gotten the thorn. I just want a little more efficiency out of it. The Henson can handle several days growth without trying but the twig needs more passes to handle the same growth. Everyday shave I’d go with twig. Monday after a long weekend or every other day I’d say Henson. The Henson is also easier to clean and has no moving parts or crevices. I have not tried Henson mild or medium.

I’m not looking to go back to electric or cartridge

I'll never go back to cartridge razors either. I love experimenting with different razors, soaps, and splashes. My favorite razors are the Game changer 68 plate and the Gillette red tip.

@@joshuacooper473 not in my collection yet but I’ve been going for a few months now. Trying to decide whether to chase red tip or just the silver. Blue seems too mild. I do have a birthday super adjustable 109 that I love. I have my dad’s slim being revamped by Matt’s team. I’m looking at PAA ascension select next. I don’t have and open comb

I really don't like the ascension. The teeth are rather sharp. I really love PAA monster slant! I can't recommend them enough. The silver tip is a great razor. I give them away to newcomers. They tend to be cheaper than the reds.
