I was most amazed by a pair of sunglasses that somehow stayed in the boat. A pair comes off someone in the back, goes up in the air, flies across the boat, looks like it's about to go into the water, but somehow just barely hits the lip of the boat and bounces back in. Then on top of that it flies back to the person in the back and gets sandwiched right between two people. Luckiest pair of sunglasses ever.

It looked like he tried his damndest to teleport back to his planet before the boom. He just let it all go, stood up, then... boom! gravity got his ass. He won't be vacationing on earth again anytime soon.
He was showing off and was trying to crank the boat into warp mode. Anyone with any sense knows wakes left from other boats at that speed will have the same effect as a rally car hitting a grass verge.
NOBODY on that boat was enjoying that ride, and that was before they almost died. Look at everyone's body language and faces. They are all buzzing on adrenaline, mostly from fear I think. Captain was driving like he was in it alone.
Girl in pink was idk, in shock maybe? She hit hard and was pissed (poor thing honestly that looked painful. Her & driver got the worst of it.) The girl in green def kept her cool wanting an ambulance & saying no one should drive & checking in on everyone.
I just really wanna take the time to send a special thanks to the camera. You stayed solid and remained focused even in the harshest of conditions all while winning the hearts of millions.
The best thing about this crash is that we have it on video, in a quite reasonable quality, from a perfect perspective and the video will last forever. This will never get lost and always be a benchmark for stupidity and entertainment for all future generations.

Okay listen. I was a passenger in this boat during the accident. Yes, there are many cardinal rules broken. The most important one I feel is no life jackets worn. As crazy as it seems, we had jackets for each person but as the poker run began we realized no one else was wearing them….. How foolish we were. I have read so many nasty comments on TH-cam and other sites I am in shock. My wife suffered 4 broken ribs, punctured lung and a broken foot. She has not left the house since getting home. She is in severe pain. The driver crushed his eye orbital and broke hus back at T8 ( he is a former F-2 racer with APBA). Another passenger who raced professionally for many years broke his pelvis in several places and is in a wheelchair. One of the other girls crushed her eye orbital also. The guy from lake tv fractured his hip and broke his wrist. My injuries were minor compared, busted my head open and damaged a rib or two. Everyone is black and blue. This was a very upsetting event for everyone involved. I have been around powerboats for many years and it only takes on unguarded minute to loose a life or permanently hurt people you love."

Okay listen. I was a passenger in this boat during the accident. Yes, there are many cardinal rules broken. The most important one I feel is no life jackets worn. As crazy as it seems, we had jackets for each person but as the poker run began we realized no one else was wearing them….. How foolish we were. I have read so many nasty comments on TH-cam and other sites I am in shock. My wife suffered 4 broken ribs, punctured lung and a broken foot. She has not left the house since getting home. She is in severe pain. The driver crushed his eye orbital and broke hus back at T8 ( he is a former F-2 racer with APBA). Another passenger who raced professionally for many years broke his pelvis in several places and is in a wheelchair. One of the other girls crushed her eye orbital also. The guy from lake tv fractured his hip and broke his wrist. My injuries were minor compared, busted my head open and damaged a rib or two. Everyone is black and blue. This was a very upsetting event for everyone involved. I have been around powerboats for many years and it only takes on unguarded minute to loose a life or permanently hurt people you love."
