Piano improvisation can be difficult but No Bull Piano lessons makes it easier to learn how to improvise at the piano without all the B.S. found in other methods.
In this 3-part mini course, you'll learn how to improvise at the piano using the easiest piano improvisation method possible with improv techniques that work.
We begin by learning a simple piano accompaniment that we use as a foundation for our piano improvisation.
Next, we learn 4 essential piano rhythms that we can use to improvise at the piano, compose melodies, create licks, runs, fills and also apply to our piano chords.
Finally, we put together the simple piano accompaniment along with the essential rhythms to build 8 blues licks that are great for beginners.
If you have wanted to accompany yourself at the piano, or learn how to improve your piano rhythm or you've wanted to learn piano improvisation so you can sit down and improvise at the piano for hours...this is the course for you.

I know you are going to say practice, practice, practice but I just can't get my left hand to keep in the rhythm. I've tried the chop nope. This one I'll keep trying. What is the metronome count for this would a metronome help?
First, understand it will take time and that's ok. Metronome is a great tool and would definitely help. Be sure to break up into smaller sections and practice just those. I'll be doing a No Bull Piano lesson on goals and why they don't work. Be sure to check that out cause I think it will help. Go slow, practice in sections and you WILL get there!
Thank you Willie. A excellent tutorial. You explain and demonstrate the lesson so clearly. 🤗
Thanks for the great No Bull Piano improv series Willie! It's great to also helpful being a member of Jazzedge. There is so much great content to support all this!
