  • Parts went bad, bought new parts, and did a twin disc clutch while I was at it. Broke it in, and I decided to give everyone my thoughts on whether or not it's worth getting one.

The shifts are faster because the clutch can disengage quicker and the synchros can match speed quicker. Remember not to sit on the clutch at stop lights, that can put a lot of pressure on your thrust washers and also make sure you set a stop so you don’t over extend the clutch. It can damage it.

Have Tick master and Mcloed RST with their lighter flywheel. I would ditch the tick master if I would do it again, or go to the smaller diameter. It's not bad though, I still am on it after 40k miles. The Mcloed twin disk clutch rattles at idle sometimes though, kind of low-level annoying.
So yeah welcome to the club.

People don't get it, you don't want it to feel like stock because otherwise it won't hold high HP. You want high pressure plate so it grip better so it won't slip ofcourse.

That didn’t give my twin disc that problem because Ktuned offers the CMC and slave that prevents that problem . OEM Honda Clutch cylinders will do that though

How stiff is that? If you use that in heavy traffic can you still walk normally after?

The clutch, alongside the tick clutch master which in itself is heavier, become pretty darn heavy, but the engagement feels like oem.

I have one and I live in DC(heavy traffic daily). It sucks and I would not recommend. But at the same time this clutch has been so good to me.

Get an lpx clutch. It’s not as heavy and can handle more abuse.

Looks like he can. That video where he shifts aggressively through many gears despite not being at the end of the gear was most likely just to show you can shift it into gears with ease and at a lower rpm like with normal driving conditions.
