Great review! Hoping others aren’t so tight in the joints. I’m really excited for him.. I hope the little things don’t dull the excitement.. It almost seems like the team spent so much time on the jet pack that the final details on the figure (helmet/neck movement) were ignored. Thanks for sharing! Cheers!
Awesome. Thanks for sharing your thoughts - I love getting the detail LOL. Make sure you swing back around and let me know how you get on with him when he arrives for you :)
Oh man, he looks so good! I'm so glad I kept my preorder for him. It was hard to tell from the promo shots, and your figure's articulation is a little worrying, but I have a feeling this figure is going to be living on my desk for a long time to come (but I might have to steal MM Spirit's bird to go with him.) This might be the figure that finally gets me to break out the fishing line too 😁
I was thinking about some fishing wire fun too! I've got a tie fighter up (behind the camera so you'll not see it) and though I could add Raptor and the Trubble Bubble up there. As to the articulation - it is my sincere hope that this is just mine and other batches will be fine. :)
Not to be mean but I really hope that when I get my Raptor figure his joints aren't so stiff. It is disappointing to have figures that can't look down or in the case of Raptor, can't look up as he is placed in flying positions. This is the same issue with the Cobra Eel figures they can't look up if you put them in a swimming position.
@@MoDXtraGC definitely. The only problem is my order was pushed out to November now but if any store in Canada gets it in stock, I will cancel Hasbro and order it from them.
Man that articulation is a little disappointing. I wonder if his shoulders have the same issue as Quick Kick’s, where you need to trim the pegs inside to give it more range
Could very well be the case. I'm so the most confident at taking remedial action of that nature with my figures so I tend to just suffer it. I know it's pretty straight forward, but I ain't handy at all and worry I'm gonna screw my figure up somehow! LOL
I have to say thanks for posting this before his release.... You saved me money on this one. 👌
You are welcome. :) Let me know what you spend the cash on instead ;)

No probs Flaffel. Glad you enjoyed the review. I hope the little things don't dull your excitement too - but I'm certain they won't. :)
It’s basically Flint with Robins mask..😄 not bad, reminds me of Zartan. Like the way you posed him..
Thanks! I'm working on the poses. I still think I've got a ways to go but your encouragement helped. :)
Very cool looking figure 👍👍👍👍🥪🥤
Cool. You gonna pick one up?
Sounds like he’s gonna need a little customization to improve movement. I will be getting him eventually though.
At least with this particular one. Hopefully other batches will be less crunchy, although I think the head issue may be a design problem. :(
He looks dope!
Awesome. Anything in particular you like? :)
@@MoDXtraGC so wasn't a super fan of the 3³/⁴ raptor, but this one is awesome 👏🏼 Wings, removable Hat everything looks on point with this one 👍🏼

He looks a hell of a lot cooler than the vintage for sure lol. Thanks for showing us!
You bet dude. Thanks for watching - always grateful of your support. :)

My joints are loose.
Oh no! And mine were tight. Between us we almost have the perfect Raptor!
I've been there man, loose joints are so annoying!
I thought that toy company’s had learnt that figures have to be able to look up if they fly. This is disappointing.
Evidence would suggest not, I'm afraid. At least in this instance. :(

You’ll have to mod it. It’s an easy mod. I have to do it to all the female figures so they can flex. And the necks I want more articulation out of.
I remember in the earlier ones we had the hinges too. They were a bit uglier, but they solved the head articulation limitation for sure.
He looks like an okay figure but when my figure comes in I think I'm going to make an optional cloth wings like the original figure
I'll keep an eye out for some piccies. You do great custom work Bobby :)
Much better version! It’s a great figure.
Awesome. Glad you like him. I'll keep an eye out for your take on him (assuming you're going to pick one up?) :)
