I am glad I found your tutorials. I have watched dozens of tutorials on eye making and I think you have some of the better ones. especially in terms of ease of use. thank you!
This is so cool, I've always wanted to make my own animal eyes, but I always thought I'd need fancy craft stuff that I don't have, thanks for all the good ideas!!! :)
Thank you! I wish I would have had better equipment and been more outgoing. But I guess getting the information out there is what is most important. Xo
you are amazing!!! Love the calming effect in your voice! I watched your other tutorial on how to make the eyes with cabochons and was so, so excited! It lead me to your website and not only are you an amazingly gifted artist....you are an author as well. Love the story of the dragonfly! For some reason I could not find the paper eye placement thing anyway. Do you still have it as a downloadable offer? I just can't thank you enough for sharing! God's Mighty Blessing upon you and yours!
Omg, thank you so much for such kindness!! It's been so long since I've done these videos, I was worried that I couldn't help you, but alas I am a digital pack-rat and managed to find the file! I uploaded it to my site. www.chibitude.com/adopt/uncategorized/eye-alignment-tool/ Thank you again so very much. You really made me feel appreciated and very happy!! ❤️❤️
Yes you can. As long as you're not baking the clay at too high a temperature. I've used these eyes in my Chibis for over 10 years, and I bake my clay at 275 degrees. Haven't had any problems with it.
Thank you! In theory I don't see that it would be a problem, but I've never tried it. The porcelain clay does shrink a little, but that doesn't seem like that should make a difference. If you're considering putting them in the oven (with polymer clay) I'd test them alone first. 😊
I’m just beginning with polymer and I have no problem with plastic wrap over, it gets under my nails and also the fingerprints on my finished work is not my favorite lol
I like your tutorials. But I got to get this of my chest. The black dot you painted in the middle is the pupil and not the iris. The iris is the blue part. ;)

Hi mam vrey good tutorial can i use porcelin clay for eye making ?
Thank you! In theory I don't see that it would be a problem, but I've never tried it. The porcelain clay does shrink a little, but that doesn't seem like that should make a difference. If you're considering putting them in the oven (with polymer clay) I'd test them alone first. 😊

Thank you soooo much for sharing!! Awesome video!!!
You're welcome very much!!!
Great tutorial, thank you so much
Thank you!! :)
I started a jack “o’ lantern and it’s not too bad. I’m doing half at a time. I should pre-bake the half that I have over a tin foil ball I think?
Double baking is a good way to set your work. Just be sure to bake it at the temp on your package so that the clay doesn't over darken.
Thank you! Love your channel!😃
Muchisimas gracias. Un saludo desde España

Hi... I love this tutorial! Also, I wanted to ask where you got the little plastic sheets from? I really like those. :)
Those are small plastic ziplock baggies that I cut into squares :)
Ah.. Thanks! :)
