Madeline, awesome tutorial! You could make a fortune teaching. Love all the tips!!!
Thanks Madds, finally after all these years I had asked you a couple of times how you made them and I understood your reason why you didn't want to show anyone but now you have and I am blown away! Awesome tutorial and so much easier than I was thinking it would be to make them. They are also a whole lot smaller than I originally thought they might be. Love them and love you!!! Whoo hoo...thanks again my friend :)
I'm kind of giggling that I surprised you :) I've got lots of different ways to make eyes, but have been wanting to come up with a way that you could make them without having a printer. I was selling them on my site, which was why I didn't share the technique, but now I'm opening up all my techniques and going to video log them for everyone to view :) Thanks Sweetie, loving you back!!! xoxoxo
LosingDrea Sorry for mixing up which size I used. These ones are the 6mm cabs. I have 8mm and 10mm too but these are my smallest.
***** well good then because I checked and its not the 4mm ones I got but the 8mm and I got 100 of them coming. Arriving Mon, Mar 2 - Thu, Mar 19

I'd love to see how you do your eyes. I've always thought making fishing lures is a fascinating hobby. I don't know if these would translate to getting wet, but I'm sure you're smart enough to use your special knowledge to come up with something awesome!

What is the size of glass
What ever size you need for your doll, technique is the same. I can't remember if these were 6mm or 10mm, could be 4mm. I think they were 6mm.
Is your first circle actually the pupil? The black center of the eye?. You are calling it the iris ( colored part).
Sorry, didn't realize they were going to be so tiny. Just the right size for my little dolls. Thank you.
@@elainemcbride6517 you're welcome. sorry if i said the wrong words (not a big surprise) lol. None of this was scripted. I'm glad they work for you!
So smart! Thanks so much for sharing!
I do have a question...the cabs you're using in this video, are they the 10mm ones? They're the perfect size for my applications, as well. :)
Lydia Zimmerman You are welcome! :) Thank YOU! These are 6mm cabs that I'm using here. 6MM geez....I kept getting it wrong. 6MM...LOL Sorry if I confused anything.
Nope, I understood perfectly. :) Thank you again, very much. I just love this clever way of doing this. No muss, no fuss! You are too kind for sharing. :)
where do you buy the small clear glass cabochon 5mm
Sorry Sweetie....I have yet to be able to find any cabochons that are crystal clear in a size smaller than 6mm. If you find some please come back here to I can add it to the links for others to get some too! :) There's a link in the description for 6mm and up.
Awesome, thank you!
Hello, Madeline! Can these be baked in a polymer clay sculpture? I am just beginning to make tiny pet sculptures, but the eyes would need to be set into the clay, and then baked. *LOVED* your tutorial !!!! :-)
Yes, they sure can. I use these for most of my sculptures. I hope you enjoy making and using them!! ❤
