Ok... what if: you moved one set of cubbies flat against that wall by the door where they are now, and moved the other set to the wall by the bathroom door? The two matching low shelf units in the library area and the third one that's currently by the bathroom door, move in a line across the front of the room under the whiteboard. I know it's not a cozy library nook that way, but kiddos could still sit on the rug to read, and then you could spread other things out a bit more. Maybe you don''t need those book display shelves (the triangle thingys lol)... I dunno. Just thoughts! :)
What if you put the two sets of white drawers at the end of your desk facing out like an end cap - it might help with it looking so congested. Also, if you put the set of four cubbies, that you have in the corner, over at the end of the back to back cubbies you could put the larger sets of cubbies on one wall and free up an entire wall. I love how it is coming along and your baby is adorable.

I like that idea also….you could also put the teacher “U” table where the library is and then the teacher desk in that back corner where she originally had the “U” table.

You could switch the reading area with your teacher desk

I will be teaching kindergarten this year
It's my first year of teaching and I'm teaching kindergarten also and the teaching in twin falls School district it's in Idaho
Could you get rid of the teacher desk and just use the table as your teacher area?
I would love to do that but when I talked to the other teachers all school purchased furniture has to stay
