This was unquestionable one of the best shows I've ever attended. It was tantamount to listening to a greatest hits album! They still got it 30 years later!!!
I was at this show and brought my 22 year old son who had never heard Rage before. He was jumping around and going crazy and loving it right away. I’ve seen over 60 concerts, including Rage before in 2007. But this show might be the best I’ve ever been to. Just incredible.
Sometimes when bands come back after a long time they tweak songs and don’t have that wow factor! These boys sound like they did when I saw them in 93! 💥🔥

I had floor seats for this show. I am 21 years old, and the guy behind me was in his mid-40s. He had seen Rage multiple times, obviously I hadn't. Neither of us thought we'd ever get the opportunity to be here for this. A couple times (Wake Up breakdown especially) I was so overcome with emotion that I openly wept. What an experience.
Good for you brother. They are one of the best live bands of the 90’s. It just sucks that their aren’t tours like Lollapalooza now where you could see Rage, Tool, Alice In Chains, Red Hot Chili Peppers and a an amazing litany of great bands in one festival. I had heard of Fred Hampton before, and knew he was assassinated by the government, but other than that I knew very little about him. Earlier today I was watching this video and got to the Wake Up part and finally decided to look him up and it is just heartbreaking how he was targeted and murdered. It should be required in all schools to teach Cointelpro in great detail.
I was here for this show and they sounded just as good as they ever did. The "pop" they had for the entire show, the energy, the grittyness....top 3 concerts I've seen. Run the Jewels was amazing, too. Great opener choice.

I was here with my son and daughter from the UK. We went to New York specifically to see them as we'd had tickets to see them at the Leeds festival in the UK which was cancelled because of Covid.
Went opening night and Friday, both GA (the only way to go). No band even close. Then or now. Saw them at Roseland in 97, the #1 ranked show of my life. In my opinion they topped it. Amazing how every single song builds an energy into a climax that consumes you with RAGE. It's like getting punched in the face for 2 hours and loving every minute of it. Also, they should be charged with a felony for starting the show with those three songs.

I recall the Ground was VERY Muddy not grassy and the Lead singer was JUMPING around heavy thru-out the Set. so TODAY at age 53 his Bones cannot take him jumping around like he did 20 years ago - its ASHAMED he sprained his Ankle - the HIGHLIGHT of the Concert for ME was him Dancing around so Passionately. i will try to attend the very LAST night in NYC hoping he is WELL ENOUGH to " JUMP AROUND " - Krsitina in BX

I will admit that the mosh pit could have been bigger/gnarlier, but I chalk that up most likely due to Covid and this was the first concert people had been to in a while (Or it was just people who haven’t been in enough pits). Most angsty teenagers used to end up maturing and changing their perspective on life once they become older and wiser, and express gratitude once they recognize that they ought not take for granted everything that has been built by those before them in order to give them every blessing that they have. Not RATM though. Some people wish to remain adolescents forever, tearing down everything and building nothing in its place. Some people will remain perpetually angry, perpetually dissatisfied. No affordable housing to buy, so living with parents or under unaffordable landlords. Little to no pension, because real term wage cuts have got people living paycheck to paycheck. Plenty of people choosing to not start families at all. Add to that greater awareness of injustice in the world, that's always been there, but much more out in the open, and you're left with not only angry, disaffected youth, but those in their 30s and 40s too.
