I knew this was one of the first things you would do. Next to fixing any rattling noises and gettigng the windows tinted this is always top of the list
When i had my VA this was the first thing i changed as well. My 2012 gti had halogen bulbs vut my 2019 BASE Jetta had led headlights and interior lights and that only cost me $19k. When i got my $32k WRX i couldnt believe hiw cheao suvaru went with the all the yellow lights inside and out. We live in the woods so having good headlights is a safety conern.
I'm honestly surprised that halogen bulbs are even still a thing. They're no cheaper to make and much less bright. Leds can perfect any color spectrum, so if people don't like the cool white, you can always find warm leds that just have a brighter output. It's definitely important to have good lighting living in rural areas!
Watching you picking up a VA and build it up is making me think it’s time to find one and start my build, my forester is nice but time to get into a WRX
wow, huge difference. i actually might end up doing the same thing because i got my windows tinted which is great except they are a little dim at night, to the point where i probably wouldn't want to drive a long distance after dark.
For the high beam bulbs, make sure the diodes are at 9/5. A lot of bulbs don’t have a rotating collar so can’t adjust it. Your high beams seems a bit spotlight like versus mine is more flood, most likely due to the LED diodes orientation
Just bought these for my car I have the olm ones right now for the last two years but when I don't have my high beams on they start to flicker between on and off which is lame and these look brighter witch will be nice thanks for the code also
If you want to get rid of that flashing, you can unplug your DRL harness if you haven't already done so. It's located under the passenger headlight. There's a bunch of videos on it. You could either removed the lower splash guard and reach up and unplug it or you could remove your intake snorkel and reach down and unplug it also.
@@StreetInspired1 also I know you had the 1320 down pipe on your 2020 would your recommend it or would you recommend another brand also who did you get it tuned by? Looking into getting one in a few weeks and wanted to see what you think
@LostLarz I loved my 1320 Jpipe. I had the catless version on my 2015 wrx and the catted version on my 2020 and both were amazing, but they've since stopped making them. I had the ETS on my 2022 and it was good but you can't tune out CEL anymore. Also I had both my VAs tuned by Ron at Phatbotti and he was great but he's no longer tuning. I tuned with Clark Turner on my 2022 and he's in the process of tuning this car now and he's also a great tuner.
@StreetInspired I would go for Lasfit - LA plus or if u want the brightest one, the 65W LS plus 4th gen led bulbs is ur better ticket because the orientation is an automatic wrong if u out the led bulbs and the led chips facing 6-12 o’clock. U need to have an orientation facing 3-9 o’clock. So I would go for LA plus or LS plus for best usable led high beam output. The offset halogen bulsb on ur 9005 is horrible. So get ur hands on those options.
Do these have to be clocked like some of the bulbs do? Do they flicker at all? I ordered two sets of SeaLights. 1 from each kit had to be rotated 90 degrees. On the WRX no flicker, on an Impreza it has a flicker.
I didnt need to clock them they were st a perfect position right out of the box and into the headlight no issues. They will have slight flicker only if you put them in the high beam slot and your drl is on. However I unplugged my DRL harness so mine don't flicker at all.
That's not the reason I bought it. I wanted one and I have a lot of experience with these cars and I also do bodywork and paint for a living so I should be able to fix any issues that arise.
Thanks for the review and DISCOUNT!
Nice. Just picked up the low beams for my '19. Thanks for the promo code!
Wow what a difference!!! Keep on doing what you’re doing, it’s great stuff. I hope you get thousands and thousands of views man.

I'm ignoring the rattles this time. I've learned with these cars it's impossible to get rid of them 😂
@@StreetInspired1 no way you ignore those rattles for more than 2 months
Making me miss my VA, great video again man!
SI to 20k!!!happy you back bro, want to do some mods to my vb headlights but nervous about it.
I was going to tear my VB lights apart and do something fun with them but never did it and I kind of regret not trying it.
Finally found a video of AIR 100w. Just got these for my 23 Forte GT on sale for $56

Love that CARS clip😂😂
I still need to do this 100% good video.
Those lights were a big improvement.

Anyone else see the deer at 5:16? 🦌
That's one reason I love leds. They light up their eyes and make them a lot easier to see. They're all over the place around here.
3:08 missed opportunity to mention your incapable oil filter removing noodle hands.
I had thay exact thought while editing the video. I'm disappointed in myself 😂
Which model light bulbs are they? I am running the OLM ones now. But these look way better and brighter.
These are the Lasfit LAair. The high beams are 9005 and low beams are H11
@@StreetInspired1 Awesome! Thank you. Happy to see you back in a Subie!

@@StreetInspired1 great video. I have the same problem w/ 19 Prem! I willl use your link, thanks. May I ask what "drl harnness" stands for?
Would these work for a 2016 WRX?
Yep both the hibeam and low Beam will be the same!
Are these the 2024 versions?
Yeah these are their newest model
Btw are you coming down to wicked big meet?
Unfortunately not. It's just a bit too far for me
